HANEUL'S P.O.V.
I sat down on my bed in boredom. It's been five days since I've eavesdropped. Them keeping a secret made me careful of what ever I said. Kyungsoo's been going back to work since he was much healthier, but he's been ignoring me more often. When I thought I was finally making progress with him, the wall built itself back up.
It's been harder and harder to talk to him. Every time I try, he either walks away or pretends that I'm not there. He's being so stubborn that I started ignoring him myself. If he doesn't want to talk to me, then I won't talk to him.
Although I wish he would talk to me. It gets kind of lonely. In the bright side, I have eleven other people to talk to. Chanyeol has become my closest friend out of every one.
But here I am. Laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling and reflecting on life. No one was home and my mood from Kyungsoo went down. It became harder to smile.
'YEHET OHORAT~!'
"Hello?" I answered my call.
"Haneul!" My best friend from America yelled through the phone.
I cringed a bit, not expecting her to shout.
"What's wrong?" I asked through the phone.
"I'm at the airport in Seoul! Can you come and pick me up? I miss you~!" She sang, happily.
"Okay, I'll be right there~!" I sang back hung up.
I quickly slipped on my coat and a scarf. I grabbed my wallet, phone and ran out of their house after making sure to lock the door.
I hailed a taxi and waited till I got to my destination. Once I got there, I quickly hopped out and ran. The first thing I saw when I entered was my best friend.
"Haneul!" She called, rushing over to me with her high heels clicking against the neatly waxed floor.
I chuckled. "It's nice to see you again, Yeon Ah!"
KYUNGSOO'S P.O.V.
I sat down on the couch in the practice room, panting. I took a gulp from my water bottle and noticed that someone was approaching me.
"Hey, D.O!" Xiumin hyung greeted, smiling and sitting next to me.
"Hey, hyung." I answered while twisting the cap of the water bottle back on.
"Don't you... Think you're being a bit harsh to Haneul?"
I looked at Xiumin with confusion as he looked at me, concerned.
"I know how you feel about her and how she reminds you of your ex girlfriend, but why bring up the past?" He asked, looking at me straight in the eyes.
I kept silent and looked down at the floor.
"I'm not ready to let go. I'm not ready to start again or to refresh." I answered quietly, having a staring contest with the floor.
Xiumin hyung sighed and patted my back. "I've been in your shoes more than once and trust me, forgetting and moving on is the best idea I've ever had in my entire life."
He gave me a small hug and walked away to talk with the others.
I sighed and played with my hair in frustration.
HANEUL'S P.O.V.
As Yeon Ah and I sit down at a café, I tell her all about what's been going on in my life, but instead of addressing the twelve flower boys as names, I just addressed them as friends.
"Woah! You have a crush on your friend?! In three days?" She gasped and gave me a look of disappointment.
"As your second mother, I want you to reflect on this boy. How's his personality? What's his favourite colour? Is he nice to you? Is he worthy of your love?" She asked, eying me suspiciously.
"Well, his personality is pretty good... When he's not with me. I don't know his favourite colour... He's not nice to me anymore..." I answered, trailing off as I realize all the things she told me was true. I wasn't ready to consider him as a crush.
"See! You're still a child and you don't know that much about relationships!" She pouted at me, earning a pout from me as well.
"You just don't want me to grow up." I stated.
"You're just growing too fast!" She said, pretending to wipe a tear away.
We both giggled after our little show, then we started to walk to her hotel.
"So where are you staying now? You know... Since your house is kind of..." She said, nervously.
"I'm staying at my twelve friend's house." I answered, smiling.
"They're all guys right?" She asked, squinting her eyes to me as I nodded.
"You better be careful. Boys can be stupid and do weird things." She said, looking at me sternly.
"Oh! That reminds me! How's it going with your boyfriend?" I asked excitedly.
Yeon Ah and her boyfriend, Park Jimin were going on for one straight year and they looked like a cute couple.
"Ah... Jimin..." She said slowly as her usual smile faded and she looked saddened. "We broke up, but I'm glad we did." She responded.
"WHAT?!" I shouted at her, earning looks from the people on the side walk.
"He was one of the worst boyfriends I have ever had! I should've cut off the ties with him earlier, but I was fooled into thinking that he was the handsome gentleman he was."
I looked at her in shock.
"I haven't told you about it because I knew you were going to act like this." She said, putting her arm around me as she smiled.
I sighed put my arm around her as well.
We finally arrived at her hotel. The hotel was huge, but I already knew she grew up in a rich family.
"If you ever need me, or need to stay with me, come anytime! My room is on the sixth floor and my room number is 1294." She smiled and hugged me.
I hugged back and spoke, "Why did you come here so suddenly anyways?"
"Why? I can't see my best friend anymore?" She chuckled, let go of the hug and poked my forehead.
"I also came for another reason...
... To see an old friend."
