THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
Kyungsoo sloppily walked home with his eyes on the ground and his arms loosely swaying beside him. He made his way back to the dorm late at night, as usual. He'd just come back from a visit to his mother, who'd be gone by next week because of a business meeting somewhere in China. D.O wondered to himself what he would do once his mom is gone. He knew he could always call her, text her, but it wouldn't be the same. He always preferred to see her in person. His mother would usually be the one to comfort him. She would also always try to convince him to share his thoughts with other's instead of keeping them to himself.
Once he reached the door leading to the dorm, he pulled out his key and his phone. While opening the door without a sound, he glanced at his phone to check the time.
One forty five in the morning...
He sighed. EXO is practicing early morning tomorrow, but it didn't matter if he didn't get much sleep. He was used to it anyways. For the past few weeks, it's been like this. Him, blocking out everybody except his mother and the others, only seeing for an hour or so (not counting dance practice) before disappearing.
D.O walked through the hallways of his fellow member's rooms and was about to enter his room, until someone took a piece of cloth and covered his mouth and nose with it. The piece of cloth blocked out his breathing and only allowed him to breathe in toxic air. D.O Tried to push away the sudden drowsiness he was feeling, but it couldn't be helped. The mysterious person who had knocked down an idol pulled him inside the bathroom.

D.O's eyes slowly opened to see the bright light from above. He brought up his arm, that seemed like it weighed twenty pounds and prevented the light from hurting his eyes.
"Is he finally awake now?" He heard someone familiar whisper to someone else.
D.O's curiosity got the best of him. He blinked his eyes a multiple times, trying to focus on the figure beside him, holding his head on the mysterious person's lap.
Finally realizing who it was the confused owl spoke, "What the hell, hyung."
There, stood all seven of them, Kris, Suho, Luhan, Lay, Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Chen.
"What are we doing here? And why did you try to kidnap me? You almost gave me a heart attack." D.O asked, realizing that the situation while rubbing his chest where his heart was.
"We thought you would've blocked us out again, so we used Suho's dirty sock from his room to knock you out." Chaneyol whispered the last part, hoping the demon in front of them didn't hear, but unfortunately luck was definitely not on his side.
D.O's eyes widened as big as a basket ball. He was about to yell, but then thought of the other members who were still sleeping. Instead, his lips stretched into a dark smile. The other members who were watching slowly back away and jump into the bath tub, ready to take cover and abort mission.
In less than a second, Chanyeol was in the arms of D.O, not in a romantic ChanSoo way but choked by D.O's signature move. The others chuckled but didn't move an inch to help. It was normal.
"Anyways," Suho spoke, finally gaining courage to speak up after a few minutes of Chanyeol's suffering. "I called everyone to join for this meeting--"
"In the bathroom?" Kris cut him off and Suho threw him a glare at the corner of his eyes.
"--because we are the only ones who know about the whole situation with their little love triangle. " He gestured at D.O and made a triangle with his hands. "We are the bystanders of this story, almost like the readers and D.O needs to know the truth." Suho finished and looked at his poor child in sympathy.
"You don't think he broke the fourth wall, right?" Baekhyun whispered to Chen, who happened to be next to him.
"I hope not." He answered nervously.
D.O's eyebrows met as he stared at Suho, waiting for him to explain. What else was there to possibly know about?
"Yeon Ah..." He started off, rubbing his his neck. "She... She's just using you! And we don't want you to get hurt in the end! Leave her and be with your true love, Haneul!" He said cheerfully, holding D.O's shoulders and slightly shaking them.
D.O turned around to meet the other's faces and saw them nod, agreeing with their leader. D.O's eyes started to lighten up. Maybe what his supportive friends were saying was right. Yeon Ah was the first to leave, so why can't he do the same? It might just be another joke. However, D.O remembers what his mother would always say when he had troubles like this when he was younger; 'always give second chances or you'll regret it.' He knew from experience that his mother was always right, no matter how much he wanted to deny.
"So, what do you say?" Luhan asked with anticipation. They were all hoping their friend would live a happy life with good decisions.
"I-I... I can't just..." D.O was stuttered and couldn't put the right words together. So instead of answering them, he quickly opened the door and ran outside of the bathroom.
"Great job. You scared him off," Kris stated and crossed his arms.
"Well could you do any better? I don't think so," Suho sneered, crossing his arms.
"Yes, I probably could!"
"Hmph! I doubt it!"
"Well I--"
"No! I wou--"
"ARGUING WON'T HELP US AT THE MOMENT!" Baekhyun slightly yelled glaring at the two leaders for their rare foolish behaviour.
The seven of them sighed, almost as if it was perfectly choreographed like their dances. Nothing was going according to plan.
Meanwhile D.O leaned on the bathroom door, quietly listening to their conversation. He felt as if he was burdening EXO with his problems. Of course, he knew his fellow members too well. They would try their best to help one another. He wouldn't have thought it would've affected the team as a whole and get them involved as well to the point where it's gotten out of hand.
He didn't even know if Haneul liked him back. It might be one sided. However he can't confess anytime soon, not until he can get himself together. There were possible downsides in every way he could go and there wasn't such thing as escaping reality.
"I'm such a coward..." He whispered to himself, knowing fully well that as much as he wants to deny it, it's the truth. He doesn't want to solve the problem, he wants to run away. D.O was never someone to stand up for himself when he was put down and he was never someone who liked facing problems head on. Not only that, but he has stage fright that could've not gotten him into SM Entertainment in the first place. He rarely had confidence.
D.O slowly makes his way to his shared room with Haneul, unconsciously shuffling his feet onto the carpet.
His members put so much effort to help him and he thought that he should at least help himself as well instead of relying on others a bit too much.
