Chapter 8- It's Good To Be Home

Chloe's POV

Wow I'm actually up at this time in the morning but I do suppose I went to sleep pretty early in fact I went to sleep around half 6 and that is early not even Lau went to sleep then! That reminds me did Lau actually get to bed? She must of I mean Nath was here and he knows when Lau goes to sleep! Anyway I got up and dressed into something comfortable and made my way down stairs to find Nath and Lau already up and on the sofa!

"Here you go love!" I placed a cup of tea down on the table.

"Thank you babe."

"Can i join the family hug?"

"Of course!" He smiled and his arms wrapped tightly around the both of us.

"It's good to be home!" Nath mumbled

"It's good to have you both back. I've missed you both sooooo much!" Nath sat Lauren back on the sofa and handed her the tv remote. "Look what mummy bought you!" He handed her a dvd I bought her

"Awww Clo!" Nathan smiled.

"What?"

"Look at Lauren!"

"Yeah, it's our princess!"

"Yeah I know that silly, I mean look how happy she is after you gave her that!"

"Does this mean she loves me again?"

"Aww babe she's always loved you, she just didn't show it the past few days."

Nathan's POV

I can't believe Clo thought our own little princess didn't love her own mummy! I know what I will do to make them both happy again! I will make them a delicious breakfast and then take them out for the day to the local zoo. There is a slight problem though it's i can't exactly cook! I mean I can try but it might end out terribly!

10 minutes Later the fire alarm starts to go off!

*eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Lauren starts screaming and Clo is trying to stop the defening drone which is the familiar sound in the Sykes household whenever I'm allowed in touching distance of a kitchen appliance

"Nath what are you doing in the kitchen?" Clo slithered her hands around my waist while I was still trying to cook the bacon.

"I-I was trying to surprise you and Lauren with breakfast!"

"Aww Nath there was no need too we already have all we want! Now lets clean up this mess and actually make edible breakfast as I'm presuming that isn't edible!"

"Hey! I tried!"

"I know baby!" She kissed my cheek and put all of my efforts in the bin.

"Now lets start again but this time I'm watching you so it doesn't go wrong as we will run out of food at this rate

Yeah never let me near kitchen appliances unless you want a hell lot of noise and a screaming child! That reminds me Lau is still screaming and I must calm her down before she makes us all have a headache!

"I have another surprise for you later babe!"

"Can we just get breakfast over first I think that was a huge surprise to us all."
