Chapter 17- Jaythan Fight

I went to work earlier than usual for one reason and no it's not because I needed to get away from my sloths. It's because normally the earlier you start the earlier you get to come home which let's me look after Lauren.

Nathan's POV

So Chloe's just gone to work as usual leaving me with Lauren. You probably think I hate this but I don't. Me and Chloe have this thing where everyday we both work we will take it in turns on taking her to one of our work places. It just so happens to be that today Lauren is Ill which makes it harder for me but at least I have Kelsey's and Nareesha's help. They love Lauren like she's their own and Lauren loves them back which does make it easier plus they will know more about little kids being ill and what they need etc. No I'm not stereotyping because women just have that instinct about knowing what to do with kids unlike men.

Anyway enough of my rant and back to reality. I'm still sat on the sofa with a poorly Lauren as Chloe's just left for work but I do have to soon get me and Lauren changed soon so we're ready for when the boys pick us up. You may be thinking why don't I use my car? Well you see me and Clo have a family car and just share the one as it's cheaper on tax, MOT and fuel. Which additionally means my gorgeous girl takes it to work with her and leaves me with the boys responsibility. Great I know. (Note the sarcasm)

So basically today's plan is get both me and the iccle one dressed. Go to work. Do work while Lau is with the girls. Have a laugh with everyone. Nurse my poorly baby. Go home. Meet Chloe here. Then I haven't planned the rest.

Lauren started dozing off to sleep which made me think that it's a good time to get changed. My phone vibrated indicating I had a new message. So I opened up my phone to see it was off Big Kev

'Nath we'll pick you up in 15 minutes. Do you have Lauren or not today?'

So I replied with...

'Alright Kev and yes I do have Lauren. She's ill tho so she's not the funny bouncy kid as she normally is. Is the girls coming?'

'Awwh okay mate I hope she gets well soon and yeah Kels and Reesh are coming along with Tomax and Jiva.'

I didn't reply and decided to pick Lauren up off the sofa with her teddy bear still and carried her into my room, lying her on the king size bed whilst she still slept and I could get changed into some jeans and my 'game over' t-shirt with a SnapBack and my ray-bans on. That took me 10 minutes to do so now I have 5 minutes remaining. I'm not going to dress Lau as she's comfy and when your Ill we all like to be in our pyjamas. Nobody will care as she's only three and ill.

I picked her back up and kissed her forehead before making it downstairs to turn everything off and wait for a text or a doorbell whatever comes first.

*DING DONG DING DONG... DONG DING DING DONG*

That was the door which means the lads are here but unfortunately it woke a little girl up who then started crying so I rocked her side to side in my arms which was starting to calm her down.

I opened the front door while soothing Lauren to see Jay appear. He was wearing some dark blue jeans and baggy t-shirt. Really fashionable Jay. Not.

"Hey up Nath, you ready?"

"Let me just get my shoes on and I'll do Lau's in the car."

Jay went back to the car where the other lads are while I got my shoes on and picked up a pair for my baby girl to use. Quickly I left the house, locking the door behind me and getting in the car. When I opened the car door all you saw was Tom and Kelsey together other as known as Tomsey. Siva and Nareesha together cuddling leaving me space in between Kelsey and Jay. I didn't mind sitting there at all. I love everyone in their own way in this car. Yeah some more than others but that's just me.
