What's Up Princess?

Chapter 18- McDonalds

We arrived at home luckily before Chloe so I can settle Lauren down and maybe get her to sleep if she feels like it. I walked into the house with Lau in my arms not a happy girl at all. She will know exactly what's gone on and will be terrified of all my band mates now. Great that is. Jay was suppose to be her Uncle. Not anymore obviously. Anyway with my time off I've taken, I'm going to take me and the girls down to Gloucester to see our family. Also everyone in Gloucester has only seen little Lauren once so it's definitely worth seeing everyone. Thoughts aside, I placed Lauren back down on the sofa, covering her up in her duvet. She turned to a side and started dozing off so I kissed her cheek which was now slightly bruised. For me well I went into the kitchen and got out all the necessary ingredients to make a cuppa tea. Whilst in the process of making the tea I managed to find a bowl so I got it out. I finished making the tea so I took everything in the front room and put it all onto the table. You may be wondering what the bowl is for? Well if Lauren is sick again she can be sick in a bowl. I picked Lauren up so I could sit down and rested her on my lap. I changed the tv channel to BBC One and watched some crap on there. After about half an hour later the front door opened and in appeared my babe.

"Hi baby." I turned my head and looked at her smiling at me.

"Hey handsome." Her smile faded when she saw my bruises and black eye.

"Before you ask it was Jay who did this to me and Lauren."

"What? Lauren's hurt too?"

"Yeah, Jay punched me and then followed by punching Lau..."

"The idiot! Is our princess asleep now?" She looked down at Lauren.

"Yeah she's cried herself to sleep... On the other hand I've taken time away from the band so I can sort myself out and look after Lau etc."

"Yeah that sounds good! Just need our girl better now."

"Yeah so I was thinking we can go back down to Gloucester to see family seen they've only seen Lauren once."

"Yeah course we can skype them later and ask what they will be doing."

I nodded and kissed Clo passionately before she came and sat with us. We cuddled for a while watching the same crap on television. After about an hour Lauren started tossing and fidgeting indicating she's waking up. Her eyes fluttered open with a few groans with it.

"Hello sleepy head! Nice sleep?"

She groaned a little more before looking at me. She nodded before looking over at Chloe.

"Mummy!"

She crawled over my lap and started cuddling her. When she woke up she did have colour in her face but it's quickly draining out of her as she reached for the bowl and held it near her face. Clo held her hair back and I rubbed her back.

"Just let it out princess. You'll feel a little bit better afterwards." We encouraged her to get all of the sick out of her system.

She let some of it out and to be honest it wasn't a pretty sight for any of us. After she finished I got up and rinsed the bowl out getting rid of the contents.

"Babe?" I shouted from the kitchen.

"Yeah what's the matter?"

"How about you give Lau a nice warm bath to help get rid of the ill feeling. It works for me."

"We can try it!"

I walked back through with the bowl and smiled at my girls. We all got up and went upstairs. I went into the airing cupboard to get a towel while the girls went to go run a bath. I picked Lauren's Mickey Mouse poncho towel kind of thing. You know the one with the hood and arm holes? Yeah one of them. Next thing I did was went to find a new clean set of pyjamas for her which was easy and finally I think I should change the bedding in case that has nasty germs attached to it. I like to get rid of all diseases in my household before I get them. I stripped her bed and changed the sheets to her favourite covers. You probably guessed it, it's a duvet with Blues Clues on.
