Chapter 12- Snuggle Time With Chloe

Lauren was mumbling to herself or she was talking to the fish while still snuggled up into me. Chloe was blanking me out and focusing on the music channel on the television which I normally wouldn't mind but lately she seems to becoming more distant of me and Lau. Of course I want to know why and Lauren wants to spend more time with her so I'll ask her tonight after one of us puts our princess in bed which will probably be me. I looked back at my baby girl to see that she was trying to get out of my grip. I let her out and she went on the floor making her way upstairs it sounds like it so I came closer to Chloe and snuggled into her showing her she's loved too.

"Babe what's wrong?"

"Oh nothing just that Lauren doesn't seem to care about me anymore."

"Of course she cares about you Clo she's just becoming more independent as she's getting older!" I tried to reassure her but I'm not entirely sure if it's working!

"I know Nath but she's our little princess and I don't want that to change!" I got up and went to go and fetch the blanket from upstairs quickly so me and Chloe can have some snuggle time while Lauren entertains herself for a while. A few minutes later I came back downstairs with a blanket for me and Clo to snuggle under while we watch whatever's on the tv. I threw the blanket over both of us while I snuggled my way into Chloe and she did the same to me resting our heads on top of each other's. We watched several things including the worst thing ever which was the news but if Clo wanted to watch it I would watch it as I wanted to see her happy again. Really I want us to be one big happy family again but I know that won't happen for a while or will it?

"I love you Chloe!" I whispered in her hair and I could see that smile I haven't seen in a long time appear on her face.

"I love you too Nathan more than you will know about! Which is wow well an amazing amount!"
