"Your smile completes my day. Don't you ever take that away..."
I smiled and crumpled the note. Yes, it was sweet but I'd rather be bitter. I locked my locker and headed to my next class, Philo.
"It hurts me to see you crumple those, but I'd rather be hurting than see you without smiles."
The boy would never accept defeat, never. I crumpled the paper once again and left.
I was about to enter the laboratory, but I forgot my book in my locker. I checked my watch only to find out I still have 20 minutes more for my next class. I hurriedly went to the locker area and discovered who the mystery guy was, Andrew Adams.
He was the university jock and every girl's ecstacy. He's the almost perfect guy. I heard there was this girl he's head over heels with... that probably was me?
I came near him and tapped his back. "Excuse me? I bet this is my locker." I saw shock written all over his handsome face.
I heard him curse for the very first time. I chuckled and got my book while he sighed.
"So you were the mystery guy sending me notes?" I said.
"Yes, the guy who sends you notes you always crumple." I heard him replied.
I felt guilt, yet I managed to smile. "I am not really deserving for you. You should go and find someone else."
"I have tried but it was you my heart chose," he said.
I never imagined how silly that jock was. He was someone you'd never thought he was.
A smile formed into my lips, and it became a cue for him to smile too.
"I can't reciprocate any feelings... for now."
"For now, you can't. But soon you will."
"Please, just love someone else."
"I can't unlove you."
"You're weird."
"So is my love for you."
"I better keep going."
"I'll walk you to your next class."
He smiled. I smiled through out. This boy will surely wait for me to fall.
