Ellie, Reagan, and their mother walk to the white Durango in the parking lot. Mom pulls a key out of her pocket. She points it at the Durango. The car beeps and the lights on it flash. Ellie and Reagan start sprinting to the car. Ellie somehow beats Reagan, even though she just ran like, two miles. They smile at each other. Reagan, being as competitive as she is, states, "I'll beat you next time."

Ellie doesn't reply. She swings open the door and heaves herself into the car. Reagan follows her lead, also getting into the car. Their mom is the last person to get in. She slams the door shut behind her. She lets out a sigh then puts the key into thle slot.

The car starts up. Mom looks behind her as she backs up. Reagan is looking at the dirt on the messy, gray floor.

"Heh, there's Cheez-it crumbs on the ground. We all know who left those there." Reagan says, grinning.

"Ugh not again Billy! Ellie exclaims.

Billy is Ellie and Reagan's little brother. He's a pig, a little helpless boy, a bush head (his hair looks like a bush) and a bubby. (it means grandma in Yiddish so that's kinda strange) But the rest of the time he's cool. The three siblings get along very well, way better than most siblings.

The rest of the trip home is silent. Reagan gets out a book to read and Ellie stares out the window.

When they get home, Billy is lazing on the couch playing the DS. Those lucky elementary school kids never have any homework.

"Guess what Ellie?" He says.

"You defeated Pryce ya ya..." Ellie says, sounding annoyed

She swings her backpack on to the couch and plops down next to Billy. "Woah woah, you're almost through Mount Mortar?! I thought Reagan was gonna do that!"

"YA BILLY!" Reagan suddenly barges into the house, book in hand. "HAND IT OVER KID!"

"Fine," He whines.

Surprisingly, Reagan turns the DS off. "I'd rather read right now, I'll do it later," she says.

Billy groans. "You always say that."

Their dad calls from the kitchen saying, "Ellie come in and eat!" Ellie gets off the couch and goes into the dining room. Today the meal is spaghetti. It's pretty filling which is good, because running makes her as hungry as a lion.

After she eats, she makes herself a glass of chocolate milk by mixing Hershey's Chocolate Syrup and milk together. She also takes one of her dad's homemade brownies out of the freezer and heats it up in the microwave.

She takes her food into the living room. Ellie sits down on the red chair in the corner of the room by a small, brown, circular table. Reagan is still reading of course and Billy is on his tablet.

As she's eating she hears her mom and dad's voices coming from the kitchen talking about something.

As she drinks her last bit of chocolate milk her dad's voice comes from the kitchen telling everyone to go to bed. All three of them trudge upstairs to their bedrooms.

Ew that was a boring chapter, hopefully the next one is better.
So funny story about Billy. My brother was looking over my shoulder as I was writing. I had originally named him Kai, because that name is cute💕 but my brother didn't like that name so I asked him what I should name him and he said Billy. So that's the story.

This was a terrible chapter. And it's been two weeks. Wow. I am ashamed. But I 🍞 you all so I'll see ya next time!💕
