Ellie shuts off her alarm. Her room is pitch black. She slowly reaches over to the lamp and flicks it on. Bright light shines throughout her room. Ellie pulls off her blanket and stretches her arms and legs while still lying down. She then moves into a sitting position. She finally stands up, and goes by the door to turn the lights on. She walks back to the lamp, rubbing her eyes, to turn it off.
Ellie groggily heads over to her clothes drawers. She pulls out a coral colored shirt, capris, socks, and everything else she needs. She dresses in just a few minutes.
Still tired, Ellie slumps out of her room and down the stairs. She tumbles on to the couch and lays there until her mom calls her in for breakfast.
Reagan is already sitting at the dining table when Ellie walks in. She has her head in her hands and her blond hair is still unbrushed. Ellie sits in her chair at the table, making a cushion with her arms to lay her head on. Their mom brings them a bowl of fruit, cereal, a cup of juice, and some toast.
Ellie lifts her head off the table and starts eating. Reagan gets done eating in about ten minutes. She walks off to brush her teeth and whatever else she has to do. Ellie finishes a few minutes later. She puts her bowls, cup, and silverware into the kitchen sink.
Ellie walks through the living room to get upstairs when she notices Billy lying in the red recliner. He's staring off into space and looking very tired. His bushy hair is sticking up everywhere and his dark blue eyes have bags under them.
Of course, this is nothing to worry about. Billy always wakes up earlier than he needs too. He could wake up at 7:30 at the latest, but for some reason he's always up when Reagan and Ellie are.
She walks past him and marches up the stairs. Feeling a little more energized after breakfast, she gets through her daily routine pretty fast. She brushes her teeth, washes her face, pees, and fixes her hair into a ponytail in less than fifteen minutes. Surprisingly, Reagan caused no problems. (Not that I normally do hee hee) So far the day was going well.
Ellie zips up a thin jacket and swings her backpack over her shoulder. She checks the time on the kitchen oven then tells Reagan it's time to walk to the bus. Reagan scurries from her place in the living room to get her backpack.
Ellie exits leaving the front door open for Reagan. She gets to the bus stop just as the bus is pulling in. Reagan is just a little ways behind her. Ellie finds a seat near the front and Reagan sits beside her.
The fart smelling bus moves forward. Ellie and Reagan sit in silence, giving Ellie time to think about her dream and the whole Adellie thing. After some thinking she finally figures it out and when she does, she punches Reagan in the arm.
"What was that for?!" Reagan exclaims.
Ellie smiles, "Nothing"
