The Second Exams

Tanra's POV
Kurenai rushed me out the door this morning for the exam, honestly I don't know why we had to leave at four in the morning. I do know now though.... "Tanra, I want to test your strength." I dead panned at her giving her a look as if she were stupid. "Um, Kurenai, are you stupid or something?" She blinked a few times at me giving me a confused look. "No, why?" I gave her a glare and stomped my foot on the ground. "Because it's four in the frickin morning! Not only that! It's the day of the second exams when I'll need all my strength!" She sweat dropped rubbing the back of her head. "Oh ya, it is huh? Well, I guess when your done with your exam we'll spar." My head dropped. "You gotta be kidding me?" I started walking away but she ran up to me picking me up throwing me on her shoulders. "What are you doing!?" She laughed as she ran through the village with me screaming on her shoulders. Many villagers came out to see what was going on. I clung to her forehead tightly so I wouldn't fall. She ran all throughout the village a couple times before she stopped at the Hokage office door. She nocked on the door waiting for a gruff voice to answer. When she got the "Come in." She walked in with me as white as a ghost still on her shoulders. The Hokage looked at us with wide eyes. "I brought her lord Hokage." She pulled my hands off her forehead and I drifted like paper off her shoulders onto the floor. The two adults sweat dropped and I instantly sat up fast. "What the hell!? You didn't have to run all over the dam village to get here!" I looked at the Hokage after I got up and had dusted my self off. "What did you want to see me for lord Hokage?" His eyes softened and he gave me a soft smile. I glared at him. "Whats with the smile for?" I crossed my eyes and he coughed into his fist getting serious again. "Tanra, I want to talk to you about these exams." My glare intensified. "I'm not quitting them. I don't care what you say, I'm not leaving my team to die in this next exam." They looked at me with soft smiles again making me stomp my foot on the ground. "What the hell is with all the dam smiles today!?" Kurenai decided to speak. "Tanra, you have given us a chance to open you up a bit to the leaf." My eyes widen and the Hokage was the next to speak. "Tanra, it seems we have become comrades to you. I know your father will be coming for you someday, the point is. When he does come, are you going to stay with the leaf? Or are you going to become a rouge ninja like your father?" I looked at the floor with widen eyes but then glared at the Hokage. Some tears weld up in my eyes soon after as I thought about it. "I told you this in the beginning and I'll tell you again. No matter what I will follow what ever my papa has in store for me." They looked at me a little sadly. I crossed my arms. "Bringing me, a follower of my papa into this village was a mistake and you should have known that from the beginning grandpa Hiruzen." His eyes widened. "I have known who you are for quite some time. Don't jump to the conclusion that my papa only speaks of the bad things. He is my papa after all, He told me about what happened in his younger days. I know you where his sensei and he had two other teammates named Tsunade Senju and Jiraiya. My papa told me of what fun he had as a kid and the bad times he has had. Do not think so poorly of my father. I have been raised in the way that makes me the way I am today. I knew that one day my papa was going to come for me and I would have already let the leaf into my heart." I put my hand on my chest. "Grandpa, that day will come, and I have already let the leaf somewhat into my cold heart. I am almost just like my papa so you can just go ahead and make the assumption I will end up like him. I wasn't supposed to be here in the first place but I'm glad to have had much experience in this village. I got to meet many wonderful people and I wish papa could live here with me and we would never have to leave but because of the way my papa is, that is not the case. I know he has done many bad things in his life and he will continue to make more, but I will not promise to stay in the leaf as a leaf shinobi for the fact that I love my family outside of these walls." I bowed to my grandpa. "Thank you grandpa for trying to open my heart and letting me have these experiences." With that I left the Hokage building. I went towards the field where my team and I would be meeting up. I wiped the tears that had fallen when I left away. I do wish I could convince papa to stay but we both wouldn't be welcome into this village, especially now that he has her with him. Lady Uchiha isn't a bad lady, she was just misled in her time. I waited for a while for things to start. We were finally let in with a heaven scroll. We ran through the woods for a little while before we had to stop so naruto could take a bathroom break. When he came back I threw a kuni at the fake. Sakura yelled at me. "Tanra what are you doing!?" Sasuke decided to speak up. "That isn't naruto, though I must say his transformation jutsu is worse than Naruto's." I nodded as the fake tried to defend himself. I lunged forward striking the fake in the chest with my kuni. "You sure are fast I'll give you that." I glared at him as he lept away. Naruto came back with sasuke after a little bit. Sasuke got us huddled together. "We need a password." He looked at me. "Tanra, you don't need to hear it, we'll be able to tell if it's you." I nodded and jumped into a tree." They talked for a bit when I sensed something amiss. "Guy's get out of the way!" They looked at me with wide eyes when wind came hurdling at us. I got thrown back out of the tree by the force of the wind. I winced as I hit the ground but not without being scraped up with the bushes. We all gathered and I bit my lip when another fake naruto showed up. Sasuke turned to Sakura first. "Sakura! Whats the password?" She gave it to him and he nodded. He turned to me and gave me a wink making me glare. "What kinda crap are you trying to pull Sasuke!? Is that how you gonna know it's me from now on or something?!" He chuckled ruffling my hair. "Yep. Naruto, whats the password?" the fake gave him the full password but Sasuke threw a kuni at him. I didn't budge but look at everyone with worry. This is what grandpa meant with choices. The fake jumped up. "What are you doing you coulda killed me!?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes at him. "You aren't naruto." He turned to me making me tense. "Tanra, you have the best sensing abilities in the group, this isn't naruto, is it?" I looked at him with worry and quickly shook my head. He gave me a glare that held a bit of fear in it. "Well, it is coming from her so I suppose your right." Naruto transformed into a woman with papa's outfit on. She looked at me and Sasuke with a lick of her lips making me shiver. I have never feared my papa till this moment right now. It's not the fact he is licking his lips at me because I know it's for show, but I worry about my team. She looked at them. "I'm sure you want my earth scroll don't you?" She pulled the scroll out and shoved it down her throat. normal people would gag but honestly, this is my papa we're talking about, so it doesn't even faze me. "Tanra dear, come over here for a minute." I nodded and they looked at me with wide eyes. I walked next to her and she put her hand under her eye casting them into a genjutsu. I turned away from them so I wouldn't watch my papa hurt them, just listening to their screams was bad enough. She told me to go behind the tree so I nodded doing so. I waited here listening to everything, even when naruto showed up asking where I had gone off to. I crouched down as papa was sent flying through the tree I was behind by a fire ball cast by Sasuke. I ran to her and looked over her. I sighed in relief and jumped into another tree. Naruto looked at me with joy and shouted to me. "There you are Tanra! Thank goodness your alright!" I looked at him with pity and Sakura glared at Naruto. "Naruto you idiot! Shes also an enemy at this point!" His eyes widen and I looked at him with pity. I was suddenly picked up and taken to another tree branch. I held onto papa's shirt as he ripped off the rest of the skin. "Tanra honey. Please calm down." I started crying quietly in his shirt as he held me tightly against him. Naruto glared at him. "What did you do to her snake!?" Sakura looked at naruto with pity. "Naruto you idiot. Thats her father." Naruto's eyes widened. "That's her father!? He's a creep!" I pushed papa away a little and jumped out of the tree. I ran off into the woods away from everyone. Sakura reached into her pocket and blew the whistle.
