When we got back it wasn't even 6:45. "I'm tired," I whined as Shawn opened my door. "Well if you get out of the car then you can go beck to sleep." He contemplated. "Cary me," I whined. "Nope," he laughed at me. I grabbed his face kissing him and wrapping my legs around his torso. "You tricked me," I tightened my grip. "And your not getting rid of me very easily." I smiled evilly. "I know," I buried my head in the crook of his neck. "Fine," he groaned shutting the door and locking the car before taking me up to our apartment. He dropped me on the couch after arriving. "Wanna watch a movie?" I shrugged, I was tired but I had nothing better to do. "Yeah sure," he shrugged. I took my jacket off feeling the heat of the room and my natural body heat. Shawn followed. My eyes were glued to the screen, and my hands were on Shawn's arms. I was so into the movie until I felt something off on Shawn's arm. I turned my head. "What is this?" I looked at the gauze taped to his arm. "I'll take it off," he said taking off the gauze, revealing a beautiful tattoo. "When did you get that? How did I not notice? Wow I'm a terrible girlfriend." I face palmed myself. "I got it yesterday with Nate. You didn't notice because I've been hiding it and you are not a terrible girlfriend. But besides all of that. Do you like it?" He looked at his arm. It was an amazing tattoo a picture of trees with their reflexion in the water and it was in the form of a guitar with the CN tower to show off where he came from. "Baby it's beautiful," I stared and my mouth hung agape. "But I thought we were gonna get our first tattoos together," I still held his arm but looked him dead in the eyes. "Nate dared me and then dragged me into a tattoo parlor. I had no choice. But you can get a matching one, if you want." He smirked at me. "Why don't we do that. Right after we help JJ." I smiled kissing him. "You still taste like weed," I depend the kiss. "I figured. You'd. Pull. Away. Then." He said between kisses. "It suits you," I pulled away. "There it is." He nodded knowingly. I pressed my lips against his again making him shut up quickly. "Happy now," I smiled. "Kinda," he made a small gesture with his large fingers. "What would make you happy?" I smirked knowingly, straddling him. "I don't know you tell me," he smiled as I went to kiss him. "It's. Like. The. Weed. Gets. Stronger. Every. Time. I kiss. You." I mumbled onto his lips. "I. Thought. It. Suited. Me." He didn't pull away and when I tried to he pushed my head back on his. "The. Next. Time. You. Go. To. See. Nate. You. Have. To. Bring. Me. With. You." My tongue caressed his. "Why. So. You. Can. Smoke. With. Us." His tongue overlapped mine. "Yeah. I missed. The. Taste. Of. Weed." I mumbled knowingly onto his lips. "What now," he pulled away. "Oh yeah. I used to smoke weed. Don't tell me- you didn't know?" I made sure the sarcasm was clear in my voice. "Ha ha very funny. But I thought you were serious." I stayed on his lap. "Whatever. Although I seriously can't believe you thought I smoked weed. Actually, I might have smoked a couple times but not as many as you'd think really." He glared at me. "So. You happy yet," I completely changed the subject. "Your changing the subject." He glared. I got off his lap standing in front of him. "I know what would make you happy." I smiled knowingly. "What would make me happy?" He bit his lip a little. I sat back down on his lap. "Maybe this would," I began grinding my hips against his and kissing his soft lips. He wasn't wearing a shirt, making it easier for me to get done what I needed to be done. I kissed down his body, stopping right above the hem of his pants. Someone knocked on the door. I checked the time. It was almost eight. What was anybody doing at our door at eight. I walked to the peephole checking and seeing Carter on his phone. "It's Carter." I said as quietly as possible. He walked out of the room telling me to do whatever I wanted. Saying how it's my decision. I slowly opened the door pretending as if I didn't know who it was. "Hey Carter. What are you doing here? Your not going to beat me in my own house are you?" He playfully rolled his eyes. "I know you probably don't have the best memories with me. But I want you to know why." Shawn walked out of my room as I invited Carter in telling him to sit down. Shawn sat next to me and Carter sat in front of us. I put my legs on Shawn's lap. "When dad sent Maddox away. I knew. He told me. I was the first one to know. Not even mom knew that dad had gone into court and was sending him away. He told her the day before so she couldn't do anything to stop it. When he got sent away, it was like I lost a part of me. As stupid as that sounds," I was now switching positions. I put my head on Shawn's shoulder as he played with my hair. "And I had all of this anger balled up inside of me. Dad told me that he knew what to do about it. You might not remember much about being a child and that's all because of dad and I. He used to chain you up in the basement and I would beat you and he would beat you until you started bleeding or went unconscious. And then he would take the chains away and leave you there. I only beat you because I wanted to be like dad. But when we got older and I realized how wrong it was. He threatened me, and made me beat you and made me hate you. But now that I'm moved out and all of that stuff. He can't do anything. So I just came to apologize. I never meant for things to end up the way that they did." He showed a crooked smile. "Carter. I believe, trust and respect you. And I accept your apology but this whole being nice to each other thing, when your nice to me and don't abuse me. That's gonna take a little getting used to. But thanks for this whole thing. This is incredibly sweet of you." Carter stood up looking at Shawn who just glared. "Hurt her again and you will need a face transplant." Shawn fake smiled. "Break her heart and a lot more then her heart will be broken," Carter returned the smile standing up. "Am I aloud to hug you ?" I admired the fact that he was taking baby steps and not rushing into things. I nodded reaching over and hugging him. It was weird. I've never really had an older brother figure before. "So," Shawn licked his lips, after locking the door behind Carter. "Let's finish where we left off." I pushed him onto the couch.
