"Maddy dear," my mother calls up the stairs. I've been camped out in my room all day with nothing else to do. The boredom was killing me.

"Yeah," I pause the music Summer and I have playing. We've been up here for the last two hours just dancing around and laughing at old pictures. It's been a while since I've been in this room.

"Will you come here for a minute?" She sounds nervous when she calls on me which makes me nervous as well. I don't know what she might want and I'm worried for what's to come next. I don't want to have to escort Summer out though she knows he still. If dad comes home early she sneaks out the window I usually go with her but if he knows that I'm around I send her out on her own.

"Yeah I'm coming," I call to her. I've been here visiting my mom though she's had so much do go around the house while dads on his business trip I haven't seen much of her.

"What are you guys doing here?" I look at Jack Sammy and Nate who stand at the door. All have the same fake smile plastered on their faces.

"Well Maddy you know we all love you so much. That being said we always have to keep your best interest in mine and we think what might be best would be an arranged marriage?" They barely have the strength to state it. They just ask me as if to see if I'd be ok with it.

"A what?" I choke. Summer stands at the top of the stairs with an all to knowing smirk on her face. I don't like that everyone deciding things for me.

"An arranged marriage. We've discussed with his parents already and they're on their way over now to talk about this. While your fathers not here," my mother speaks meekly. She doesn't ever want to step on any toes she's so calm and quiet and easy going. This is so out of character for her.

"But why would you think," they cut me off. I sigh looking at the ground while they start talking over me.

"We want to keep you safe and this is the best way to do it. Now go get changed they'll be here soon." They point at the stairs. They're practically my parents and I have to listen to them no matter what they tell me to do.

"But," Jack gives me a stern look and I don't want to start anything so I nod heading up the stairs to my bedroom.

"So who's the lucky man?" She giggles giving me a wink and the eyebrows. I roll my eyes at her. How am I supposed to know? Why does she think I would know I only found out thirty seconds ago but she seems to.

"I have absolutely no idea." I shrug. "He better be cute though," I point changing my outfit. I wanna look cute but I want to be comfortable so I put on my shorts and a cropped top with one of Jack's sweaters on top.

"They're here," my mother squeals.

"Let's go see who I'm getting married to," I smile falsely and walk down the stairs. "Mama?" I call.

"We're in the kitchen," she responds with the utmost excitement in her voice. I feel bad knowing I'll most likely reject their offer and how excited everyone's been about this. Everyone knew except for me.

"Alright," I walk down the stairs watching someone walk through the door. I'm so nervous to see who they're trying to set me up with. I just want him to be nice.

"He's looking good so far." Summer nudges me looking at his beautiful brown hair and his back in the muscle shirt he wears. Everything is accented so nicely.

"Hey gorgeous," Shawn looks up flashing me a smile. My jaw drops and I turn moving back up the stairs and away from him. I don't want to be near him.

"Jack," I yell from the stairs. "A word?" I spoke impatiently. "Why didn't you tell me!" I whine. I don't know what else to say to him I'm just angry that he brought Shawn. There was no reason for him to have done this.

"Because you would've said no. Give him a chance Maddy. Please?" He begs. He really wants me to love him again and he wants me to be happy and have the life that they've always wanted for me.

"Fine." I huff walking down the stairs pushing passed him and towards the kitchen. "Coming." I roll my eyes at him.

"Be nice." Jack scolds.

"Sorry," I huff walking into the kitchen. This isn't fair for me to drag this part of my past back into my life.

"Maddy," his mother stands giving me a hug. "It's been so long." I smile hugging her back. It's been so many years since I've seen her.

"It had been hasn't it." I smile. "How are you?" Her hands rest on my shoulders. She looks me up and down and smiles.

"I'm doing good how about you?" Shawn inches towards us.

"Im doing good." she nods. Shawn walks towards me. "My goodness you're so beautiful." She smiles making me smile as well, while Shawn gets closer.

"Hi beautiful." Shawn wraps his arms around me. I hug him back. Though I'm mad I've missed him for so long getting this hug is everything to me.

"Hi," I cough. "How've the tours been?" I do my best to show him that I haven't forgiven him. I just want him to understand that he hurt me.

"Pretty good. How's school been?" I shrug.

"Good good. I just graduated." I sit down and he sits next to me.

"So you two." My mother smiles. "The wedding will be in nine months." I choke while everyone else gains a look of excitement.

"Nine months?" I look at her in pure shock. That's not enough time.

"Yup," she nods.

"Mom," I gasp. "We dated for three years but I haven't seen him since. We don't know anything about each other anymore. Don't you think we need more time?" I set my glass down.

"Nope," she shakes her head. "Oh and we bought you an apartment." His mother smiles.

"A what?" Shawn's jaw drops. I'm just as shocked as him but honestly the wedding is hurting me more then the other stuffs.

"Yup an apartment. You move in tomorrow." They smile and Summer gives me a slight smirk while she tries to conceal her laughter.

"Stop." Sammy growls at Summer. She just can't help herself she knows how hard everything's been for me.

"So now you guys'll have plenty of time to get to know each other." She smiles.

"What about my tour?" Shawn gasps at his parents. They don't really seem to care.

"You either bring Maddy or don't go," his mother shrugs.

"Im really not sure this will work out." I sigh looking at our parents.

"It will if you want it to." His mother smiles. Standing non the less. "We should head out." She nods taking her family out. "Goodnight." She nods waving them away.

"I can play nice with him for an hour but the rest of my life is a long time." I breath helping clear the table.

"It'll be ok I promise." My mother smiles.

"What if it's not?" I put the last plate into the dishwasher.

"Then we'll figure it out but for now you have to try." She looks sympathetic.

"Summers staying so she can help me pack and move tomorrow," I ignore her comment and start walking up the stairs.

"Bye guys," I wave meekly at Jack Sammy and Nate who start to walk out of the house.

"Goodbye Maddy." Nate stops pulling me in for a hug. "We love you." I nod at him.

"I know." She sighs leaning against his shoulder. "I love you too."

"I've already got your dressers clothing packed. All we need is everything else." She laughs and I sigh.

"Let's get started then!"
