That Girl
I once knew a girl she was very clueless and clumsy,
She didn’t have a good fashion sense and her hair would always be messy,
She was so unpredictable she’d lose balance and trip,
Her luck wasn’t that good and her style wasn’t that hip.
She had a few real friends and people would call her a nerd,
Even though she wasn’t that smart, so she’ll get emotionally hurt.
She’d get bullied a lot and pushed when already down,
But she always stands back up and immediately loses that frown.
She didn’t know her own talent, people would call her a mistake,
She cried when she found out that some of her friends were fake.
They’d laugh at her and talk behind her back,
But she never planted anger in her heart, she’d just feel really sad.
She thought she was useless, talentless and ugly,
Never did she know what really is true beauty,
She found her true self when she turned thirteen,
She changed her own life and her own self-esteem.
People got shocked when they saw that girl again,
They said she changed a lot and she made a lot of new friends.
Never again was she called a mistake,
She was just a late bloomer and her flaws went out to break.
Yes she evolved but is still pretty clumsy,
She had a lot of problems now but was still very happy.
She knew how to spot a true friend and a fake,
But she made friends with all ‘cause people make mistakes.
She wasn’t perfect and never will be,
Nobody really is so you get what you see.
Her attitude didn’t change, the good and the bad,
The habit was still there, but that didn’t make her sad.
She accepted herself and took them as a challenge,
And toward her fake friends, she never took revenge.
If you see that girl that would always trip on the street,
Would you believe it if that girl was me?
Oooooh yeah. Well, BELIEVE IT! XD
