The Shadow Puppeteer
Now this young man had an unusual talent
He can do what some cannot, without any effort spent
A dark reflection of each person is called a shadow
And this young man has a thing or two to show.
He can stop you from moving by simply stepping on it
You can’t move a muscle, your teeth you can’t even grit
He can command people by using their shadows
How he could do it, not a living soul knows.
He went to a school of kids with gifts like him
But they disregarded him and refused to form a team
They called him a freak but he didn’t care
He didn’t have the time for them to spare.
He transferred to a special ability class
People called them a class for freaks but he let it pass
Unlike what others say, this class was awesome
They each had unique talents and everyday was fun.
This young man had a mark below his eye
A black star, a curse cast to let him die
Yet it failed for this guy was strong
But he didn’t know for until how long.
In truth he was actually one of the most powerful kids in school
He used to belong in a dangerous ability class, but was kicked out due to some rules
He had a companion before, a little boy
He was a fire starter, treated as a toy.
He shared the same fate with that quiet kid
They were used as tools to do the school’s bad deed
Unfortunately for them they couldn’t escape
For an evil mentor made sure of their cruel fate.
The shadow puppeteer didn’t have a good relation with the fire starter
They were both too powerful that their schoolmates made distance wider
Many feared those two for they were quite different
They both cursed the gifts that they never did implement.
Things changed when a new student arrived
Yes, it was that girl who opened the fire starter’s eyes
She was also kicked around so she joined the puppeteer’s class
They all warmly accepted her so she easily passed.
The shadow puppeteer treated her as his own kid sister
And because of that, he was hated by the little fire starter
He found it cute; innocent child-jealousy
He teased the little boy and the boy made him sorry.
Like the little girl and the boy, they lost their family
The teenager loved them because they made him happy
Even though the fire starter kept giving him death glares
He treated him like a kid which made people stare.
They couldn’t believe their very own eyes
Shadow and fire became such great allies
And it was all because of a young little girl
Whose smile made everyone’s hearts twirl.
A cold heart and a frozen memory
Melted away by the girl’s sweet laughing-melody
Both boys wanted to protect the girl with their lives
For that girl owns the most special power alive.
She was targeted by the school but she was too dense
That’s why the shadow and fire protected her, avoiding suspense
A great conflict was approaching and the girl was gravely involved
Leave it to the boys to have this matter solved.
