Rain (A Solangelo One Shot)

The Storm

"You are my sunshine,
my only sunshine."
Nico had his eyes closed. Will was  pressed against him, wrapping his arms around his thin silhouette, moving hair away from his ears. His voice was soft and distracted Nico from the thunder nonetheless.
"You make me happy
when skies are gray."
Thunder scared Nico. Not as much as other things, but still high up there. It could throw him into panic attacks, and over time, Will figured out how to get Nico to calm down. Sometimes, Nico would sing along, like tonight.
"You'll never know dear,
how much I love you.
Please dont take my sunshine away."
Nicos eyes still didnt open and he slowly began to fall asleep while Will messed around around with his raven curls, one elbow propped up against his head. But eventually, the thunder invaded the peace yet again. Nico jumped from his nap, grabbing Wills arm and burying his face into the older boys chest.
"You want me to sing again, mio caro?" Will kept his eyes on Nico.
Nico nodded, refusing to loosen his grip as thunder rung out again.
"Close your eyes, I know what you see..."

OMFG this was so adorable to write. I dont know where i want this to go yet, but, i know it will be adorable.
