After Neysa got me ice cream, (it's been awhile since someone's got me ice cream) we sat in silence, savoring our ice cream. Soon after we finished the ice cream we boarded the train. Ash was complaining about how he didn't get ice cream, but he shut up when Neysa gave him a tin can to chew on. Now we're waiting to get to Washington with Ash chewing happily next to me and Neysa across from me asleep. She looked really beautiful, she didn't look stressed or bothered like normal. She seemed very peaceful, I wish she'd be more at peace all the time, or at least most of the time. Peace, a word used so easily but so hard for the world to achieve, even as individuals it seems to be an almost alien concept. Contemplating peace and letting my thoughts drift randomly to various topics, like Neysa and I's moment in the woods, and other seemingly distant memories of us. With my thoughts like Percy and Leo combined on steroids I fell asleep. Soon I was dreaming, I look up to see a staute made of bronze with a base made of granite. On the top of a tall shaft is a soldier from the American Civil War. The soldier holds a staff with a furled flag in both hands. The shaft the figure is standing on has two pieces of bunting decorating it, along with eagles, military medals, and a row of mortar shells and round shots. The tower is resting on a battlement style design. Each corner of the battlement design has a musket made of bronze. There are four in total. I see two figures standing at the bottom of the statue. 'So you're done admiring the view then?' The right figure said, I looked at it kind of confused. The left figure rolled it's eyes, both figures stepped forward. Hypnos spoke first, "The train has stopped and you're friends are fighting monsters, when you awake you must tell them about this dream or you will all fail" I nodded, agreeing as this seemed important. Ares spoke next, "As you know the civil war was more than just a fight between north and south. This monument is dedicated to the soldiers, some of my children. There are weapons inside the stone, weapons only children of the big three can wield. You will need this for your quest." The figures began to fade away. I awoke to Neysa and Ash standing in front of me, both breathing heavily. Neysa held her sword, and Ash held a tree branch, he's creative, that's for sure. "Ares and Hypnos, they told me we'd find weapons on that civil war monument. We need to find it and go, they said it was important." I told them hurriedly, they nodded, more monsters would be coming so we had to leave, fast. We all quickly grabbed our things, running off the train and out of the station. We caught our breath at a McDonalds, we got some $1 drinks as well. "So we gotta find some civil war statue, bust it open grab some old weapons and defeat some snake lady?" Neysa said bluntly, slightly breathless, I nodded while Ash just smiled lightly at her. "Where is this civil war statue?" Ash asked sipping his drink,"Well...I don't know exactly where, but I know it's in Indiana and what it looks like." They both just looked at me, "I'll grab a computer, meet me at the Starbucks down the way." Neysa sighed, Ash and I nodded, I don't think either of us really wanted to know how she was going to do that.
