Chapter 14

When I got home, I knew I was in big trouble from the phone call my mom got from the principal.

My mom was watching TV when I arrived. I tried to sneak upstairs
But FAILED.

"Nikki Maxwell get down here" mom said without looking away from the TV

"Dang it"I mumbled under my breath.
I went downstairs to my mom.
"h-hey mom.How's w-was your day?"I said nervously

"Nikki what happened at school today? Tell me the truth" she asked

I sighed and started talking.

"Okay,well I was walking in the hallway and talking with my best friends when one of my friends accidentally bumped in to this mean, annoying popular girl in school. The popular girl screamed at my best friend and pushed her to the floor.My friend started crying.Then that's when I got really mad at the popular mean girl and pushed her to the floor and started hitting her.And then the popular girl and I got in detention. The End." I explained truthfully
I looked at my mom but she looked shocked.

" Sorry mom"I said putting my head down.

"Nikki,I see why you had to do that.I did something like that when I was your age"she said in a low voice

"Really??"I said putting my head up

"Yes, but you're still grounded for a week"she said.

"Fine" I said heading upstairs

I went to my room and started writing in my diary. My dad wasn't at home because he went somewhere far to do one of his work things.

I was grounded for a week but I still had my phone.I got on my phone and got on the game Brianna downloaded which was a pretty interesting game. After that I got on "Wattpad".
