"Riley!"

There was a slight pounding to my left, but I tried to ignore it. I was tired after today, and I didn't want to face Elena yet.

"Riley open the door." This time the voice was a little quieter, but I still couldn't place where it was coming from.

I tried to find a comfortable spot so I could fall back asleep. All I felt was cold though, no where was comfortable. I squirmed around a bit trying to make myself warm. Due to the cold I reached for my sheet, but instead my hands touched a cold marble floor.

I opened my eyes, the lights were on which made me squint my eyes. Where am I.

"Riley, I'm sorry". That was Elena's voice for sure. It sounded like she was pleading this time.

I stood up, my eyes still trying to adjust to the bright light above me. That's when I found myself staring in a wide mirror. The walls of the room were a light green, and looked like-my bathroom. Had I been sleeping in here for what seemed like hours? Did I just side to take a quick catnap in my bathroom? Most likely not, I wasn't that stupid.

I went to take in my profie when I found that there was a thick crimson liquid dripping from my nose. I watched it drip down onto the pale grey counter.

This couldn't be happening, not again. The last time this happened, I didn't remember where I was and why I was bleeding. It always turned out that I was drinking heavily and hit my head on something.

I heard mumbling coming from outside the door, but I didn't dare to unlock it. Nobody could see me like this, I looked so weak, and vulnerable. And if Elena found me like this again, I was sure to be sent to rehab.

I grabbed a tissue and tried to make the bleeding stop, but it wouldn't it just kept running like a waterfall. I started crying, I didn't know what to do. I grabbed another tissue and leaned my head back, I tried catching all of the blood dripping from my nose. Even with my head back my nostrils just bled and bled.

"Riley, is everything alright?" That was a softer a voice, it must be Stefan.

I couldn't have been drinking. I haven't stepped near a bar in a year. I made sure that I wouldn't drink again just for the sake of my family.

I grabbed multiple tissues at a time to get to stop, but it was no use anymore, so I dropped all of the now dirty bloody tissues on the ground, and silently cried to myself.

I put my head in my hands, while my elbows rested on the hard marble counter top. By now the marble probably looked like I murdered someone. Which I didn't, at least I don't think I did.

The only thing was it didn't feel like I was the was the only one hurt. It felt like it wasn't me who getting hurt, i was just having the side-effects. I guess I jinxed it because now I was getting a siring pain in my nose. Like I just broke it.

I put all my weight on the counter, while trying to cope with the pain, and all the blood. I took deep breaths, keeping my eyes away from the puddles of blood all over the floor. I wanted hurl, so bad, thinking that it would make me feel so much better.

"Riley if you don't open the door, I'm going to have to". Stefan's voice said in a calm voice. I knew he had his serious face on. I hope Elena wasn't crying, because of this.

I finally caught onto Stefan's words, and grabbed all of the towels near me and hopelessly trying to soak up all the blood with the white towel, but that only made the thick liquid smear on the white floor.

I heard the door handle rattle continuously, but that didn't get the door open. While they kept banging the door I braced myself for the worst.

I crawled in the corner, and but my head between my legs, so when they did get the door open they wouldn't have to see my tears, or blood for the matter. I tried to sniff back the blood, which only made my problem; now the blood was going through my mouth and nose. I wounder what I look like, probably a bloody teenager that just came back from the dead.

There was a big crash, which I guessed was the door that just crashed into pieces. I heard a gasp, and a sigh.

"Looks like it's someones time of the year, that would explain the tantrum." That annoying voice came from Damon. I didn't have time to argue, if even open my mouth blood would probably pour out.

I heard heavy footsteps come towards me, and stop what seemed like right infront of my feet. "Riley, lift your head up". The soothing voice demanded. So I guess Stefan was the one who was actually concerned.

I mumbled out a no, which to my surprise earned me to choke on the blood that was now pouring freely out of my mouth. I was running out of fresh air with my head between my legs.

I lifted my head slowly, and sure enough Stefan was in front of me. Damon was behind him trying to see my face, but Stefan blocked his view.

Elena pushed through both of them, and was now replacing Stefan's place. She looked surprised, and disgusted, probably from all of the blood on the floor.

Her mouth was open, and that only made me want to dig myself a hole and a die.

I started coughing non-stop, I covered my mouth so the blood would stay in one place.

Elena's mouth said one question that I didn't even know how to answer. "How"? Her hand was over her mouth now, so I could barely even hear her.

And there was only one answer that I could answer:

"There coming".
