I had just gotten back to my house. Of course Stefan insisted that he drove, and Damon decided to stay at the boarding house and drink his bourbon.
Speaking of Damon hadn't said anything to me since our little argument. I wasn't very surprised though; it was unlike me to say something like that. I had noticed slight changes with my emotions since I awoke from the dead.
My temper was shorter than ever. I found this out when I had my little outburst with the Salvatore brothers. Also there was this sort of heat that ran through my body. It made me feel powerful, and filled with energy. I had thought it was just the weather, but I had noticed that the temperature was below 40 degrees. I have no clue what is happening to me, but I don't want to tell anyone.
"Were here," Stefan mumbled.
He knocked me out of my thoughts. I gave him a smile and a nod for the ride home, and got out of the car. I walked up to the familiar porch to notice that the window upstairs were on; which meant someone had decided to go in my room while I was gone.
I swung open the door, and walked slowly upstairs; making sure to tip toe slowly toward my bedroom door.
"Riley?"
I swear I jumped about two feet in the air. I found my hands up in the air ready to punch whoever said my name. Turns out it was just Elena. I sighed, and dropped my hands back to my sides.
I didn't want to talk to her what so ever after the 'incident'. I had so much to say to her, and let me tell the words I was thinking of were pretty colorful. I walked back to my bedroom door; ignoring a teary eyed Elena. My hand was on the door knob when there was a hand on my shoulder.
I winced at the sudden contact, and shooed her hand off of me. My eyes were on her, and I know she was about to ask me something.
"What." I said rather rudely.
"I need to know what happened back there," she said matter-of-factually.
And that's all she needed to say.
I could no longer see Elena in front of me; there was that man in front of me. The man that I had seen yesterday in the woods. My hands were no longer by my side; they were tied to a tree. The tree in which I was tied to yesterday. I struggled against the rope, and before I knew it my hands were free. But there was a beast in front of me. That beast that I saw yesterday.
His blue eyes stared intently at me as he snarled. He charged toward me, but before he could get his sharp teeth into my skin, he was gone.
"Riley?!"
"Riley!"
Doe eyes stared back at me. I looked around, and found myself back at my house. Elena was crouched in front of me her hand on my shoulder. In which I glared at.
I stood up, and stomped down the stairs, and into the kitchen. When I heard Elena coming into the kitchen I hid my face in the fridge.
"What happened back there just now?"
I grabbed the can of soda in the back of the refrigerator and slammed the door shut. I cracked the can open and took a long drink. I leaned up against and stared straight forward at Elena.
The thing was, I couldn't tell her what happened. I couldn't tell her anything because I wasn't even sure myself what happened yesterday. Everything had just gone hazy, except when I had those weird flashbacks. Maybe she did know something that I didn't.
"What is it that your keeping from me?" I tried keep my voice leveled, I was still shookin up from what happened upstairs.
She now avoided my stare, and decided the wall was pretty interesting. It angered me to see everyone was ignoring my questions today, but I was suppose to answer theirs.
I stared at the ceiling while tipping my soda back and took the last gulp left. I squeezed the innocent can into a little ball, and through it in the trash. I gave myself a silent cheer inside, while the can made it into the trash.
My eyes scanned the quiet house, and right when I thought I was going back up to my room I turned around and head straight towards Elena. In four long strides I was face to face with her. She seemed surprised by my actions, but crossed her arms and still avoided my hard stare.
"Let's make a deal. You tell me your little secret and I tell you what happened yesterday." I cocked my head to the side waiting for her answer.
"There is no secret," she murmured.
She still didn't even take a glimpse at me. Shed probably spill it if she took one glance at me. I gripped her chin and yanked it so that we were looking each other in the eyes. Her eyes widened, and swatted at my hand but I didn't let go.
"Don't you lie to me Elena Gilbert," I spat.
She stopped struggling against me, and looked at me like she was going to start bawling any minute.
"Werewolves, Vampires, and Witches-," was all she said.
"Well spit it out," I yelled, my accent peeking out.
She flinched deeply at my voice. "There all real. Damon and Stefan their v-vampires," she stuttered.
I squeezed my eyes closed. This didn't make any sense yet it did fit together; the attack of werewolves, and the Salvatore's always avoiding me when they want to have a serious conversation, and the so called witch that they wanted me to see.
"There are vampires everywhere that are centuries old. Mystic falls is one of the supernatural hot spots. There are witches that cover the streets of the world, and werewolves that awaken at the moonlight of a full moon. This world is not what it seems, Riley."
Now that I thought about it there was one thing that didn't fit, the werewolves. If Elena was telling the truth then the werewolves were only to transform on a full moon, and it was most defiantly not a full moon that night.
So maybe the whole werewolf thing was part of my crazy imagination. Maybe I was just see things and I was attacked by a group of human men. But yet I know what I saw, and Klaus was most defiantly not human.
After all we had been through why would he lie to me? What if he was lying about everything, but worst of all what if he was just another part of my imagination. Do I really have a 30 year old imaginary friend at age18.
I walked away from Elena my eyes still closed and my hands at my temples. I climbed up the stairs, and into my room . I collapsed on my bed, face forward, and screamed into my pillow.
I know I was acting like a child but my screaming helped block all the racing thoughts going through my brain. At least only for that moment.
I heard my door shut, and out of instinct I rolled off my bed and stared at the door, to find the none other Nicklaus Mikaelson.

Alright so quick authors note:
Some of the things happening to Riley will be explained in the next chapter. Including her coma, and her visit with "death". But a heads up not everything will just be all explained in a few chapters. It will take a while for her to figure out why these inhuman experiences are happening, and it will never be explained it'll just explain enough to leave you on the edge of insanity. ;)
Now to answer my favorite comment by the one and only @smolderbunny :
Comment: "CANT WAIT UNTIL RILEY SEES HER SISTER AGAIN, LETS HOPE ELENA GETS BITCH SLAPPED".
My Answer: Soon enough she may get "bitch slapped". May be even in the next chapter. ;)
