this is the last chapter of part one.

We had decided to walk, well I ran while Nik tried to keep up.
I jogged listening to my heartbeat travel through my ears. My palms were sweating from excitement. I mean I was going to the bar with my actual brother. And no one was going to to stop me from getting some alcohol.
I glanced behind me, and huffed. Nik was far behind taking his little sweet time. I stopped quickly making sure not to run into a stranger. I mumbled a apology, and quickly ran back to see what was taking Nik forever.
"You know the faster you walk the quicker we can get wasted, and the faster we can tell each other our secrets," I winked.
Nicklaus only snickered, and shoved his hands in his pockets. I groaned, and went behind him so I was facing his back. I layed my palms against his firm back, and pushed him as hard as i could. He leaned back on my hands only making it harder for me to push him. I leaned my head on his back thinking that might make it a little easier, but that only caused me to get a headache. I finally gave up and just let go of him causing him to stumble back trying to catch his balance.
I huffed, and stomped off. I was to caught up in rushing Nik to notice that we were in front of The Grill. Finally Nicklaus decided to jog up to my side and open the door for me. I muttered a thanks, and stalked forward. Once I was in Nik made sure to turn the now closed sign, open.
many shots later...
"Whoa whoa there cowboy, you should be careful," I said while watching Nik chug his 10th shot. Or maybe it was more.... I stopped counting at 5.
I however was on my 8th so I really couldn't be talking. But he was doing one after another not leaving anytime to say a word to me. I was talking though... alot. I was probably getting on his nerves but I honestly don't care at this point. I was a little tipsy, but not drop dead drunk not yet that is.
"I think you should be more worried about yourself, " he nodded towards me.
Ok, maybe I had had a little bit to much, but no one is here to see that. And I haven't had a real drink for a year. It felt good to forget the world. Although that's what I said a year ago, and it became a very bad habit of mine. But Elena had her way of coping which of course was to go crying to her friends or write in her depressing journal. I had mine, which was drinking myself half to death.
"Fun fact..." I gulped down another shot before slamming it down on the bar wearing a proud smirk. "...I was once a alcoholic."
Nicklaus stared at me, and then stared back at the now 10 empty shot glasses that were in front of me. And in one swift movement he grabbed the bottle of bourbon and put it behind the counter.
"No no no," I hiccuped, and burped not caring to excuse myself. "I said I was once a alcoholic. I'm clean now. It's been a year since I've even held a glass bottle of some kind. Elena now has me restricted to only drinking apple juice, and diet coke," I sighed in frustration, and went to grab the bottle away from Nik.
He hopped off the bar stool, and went behind the counter and made sure to put all the alcoholic beverages where I couldn't reach. I heard him grab a glass, and pour water in it. He set the sad glass of water in front of me.
I looked up at him, and down at the clear glass. "No".
He raised in eyebrow, and pushed the cup towards me. I groaned, and took a sip of the bland liquid. I set the glass back down with a big thump. And it's just like that that all the memories came back to me.
Werewolves, vampires, witches.
I widened my eyes in fear, and jumped off the stool backing away from the beast in front of me. He looked perfectly human, but I knew there was something different about him. Just the smell of him made my stomach squeeze. How did I just notice this?
"You smell awful," I grimaced.
I covered my nose, and made my way towards the door keeping my eyes on the stilled Nicklaus. Making sure to keep my eyes on the unknown species in front of me I grabbed the door knob blindly.
Before I even had time to take another rushed breath he was in front of me. I sputtered out a ragged gasp, I put a shaking hand up to my wildly beating chest.
The amount of time that he took to come over to me was not even humanly possible. "Your no-not human, are you?" Those few words were the only thing I managed to get out of my trembling mouth. I looked in his eyes, and saw a smirk forming on his face.
"Shhhh," he hushed me, and looked around the room as if there were people listening. That stupid smirk was now fully plastered on his face, and it was irritating me. He shouldn't be taking pleasure in my fear, let alone hushing me.
The smell hit me again, and boy was it strong. The odor was wreaking from Nik's body. I covered my nose with my arm trying to remind him that he didn't smell as pleasant as he thought. He seemed to take notice of my scrunched up face, and his eyes grew concerned.
"How can you smell me? Your not even immortal, yet," he questioned.
'Yet', what did he mean by yet? There was no way in hell that I was gonna give up my mortal life to become a monstrous creature like him. I don't think I would be able to handle living for that long.
"What do you mean by yet Nicklaus? Better yet, why don't you tell me why you have the odor of a wet dog?" I looked at Nik with a venomous stare.
He rolled his eyes, and turned his back and walked away. He reached under the bar and got a bottle of a unlabled liquor. He walked back towards me, grabbing a chair on his way back to me. He thrusted the bottle in front of me before I could say anything, and swung the chair in front of him before gesturing me to sit down. So with the bottle in my hand, and the other pinching my nose I sat down. He also grabbed a chair for himself and sat in front of me.
"Before I even say this, I want you to know that I was lying to you for a reason," he clarified.
I just leaned back in my chair, and gestured for him to continue. I wasn't going to say anything until he was done, then I would express my thoughts.
"You may wanna take a swig before I start," he nodded his head to liquor bottle laying limply in my hand. I popped the cork off, and gulped a swallow of burning fire in my mouth. I cleared my throat trying to ease the burning off, but that didn't help one bit. This liquor was basically fire cased in a bottle.
"I'm a original hybrid."
I was in the middle of another painful gulp of alcohol when he said that. I choked on the liquid. "What?!" I screamed.
Now I wouldn't have been surprised if he said he was a werewolf because nothing else would make sense, but a hybrid. And what was a original?
"You Riley Gilbert just so happen to be a original also."
Now that's when I passed out.
