IVYS POV

I woke up the next morning with the sound of my step-dad entering the house, I grabbed my phone to check what the time was it was only 6:36AM.

I slightly shook my head and rubbed my eyes, grabbing into my pillow tightly and turning to face the wall, he was always like this he was definitely drunk, sometimes he would sleep at home for days and then something would happen and he would go out early in the morning at return home the next day early in the morning.

My alarm went off, I jumped out of my thoughts and grabbed my phone and turned the alarm off.

I slowly got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom until I saw him.

" Why you- you " he was struggling to stand I helped him because he was on the stairs trying to come upstairs, I know he hit me a lot after my mothers death but recently believe me he has stopped. I helped him up the stairs slowly " why you" he shook his head taking a sip of his beer " up?" I fully got him up the stairs. I ignored his question and he lead himself to his bedroom shaking left to right while walking and his beer on his hand.

I turned around and headed towards the bathroom I done what I always do, toke an shower and brushed my teeth and hair.

I done a minimum make up. I headed back to my room and put on a black tight body con middi dress on with dark green stilettos.

I grabbed my bag and car keys and headed out for work. I got to work in 30 minutes and I had 10 minutes to get Leo's coffee done.

I entered the building as pure usual everyones eyes were on me as I entered, i felt shy and looked down and i walked towards the elevator. It made an noise and the doors opened for me to enter. Along with me a really handsome man entered he wasn't as good as Leo what's Leo got to do with him anyways no one could compare his ignorant ass, however he was still good looking, he smiled at me and nodded for a greet and I smiled back. He stood next to me. I pressed on number 6 and waited.

" you're beautiful " he broke the silence with two words I smiled and felt my cheeks heating up, I looked at him and looked away.

" You should stop acting like that, " i looked down confused what was he trying to say? " You look more attractive when you're shy" I got more shy " Thank you " I looked up to him, he had a baby face and his light brown eyes were all over my face. He gave me one of the warmest smiles " Can I take you out on your break?" I looked confused but yet again I needed some friends here " Sure, my breaks at 12" he nodded as soon as he did, the elevator made an noise. I got our waving at him to say bye " Ill pick you up here beautiful " I shyly looked away and laughed covering my face slightly.

I watched the elevators door close and I turned around to head Leo's room until I hit something rock hard.

" So, that's why my coffee was not ready" Leos voice sounded so angry, I honestly was so embarrassed he heard everything especially after yesterday him comforting me this was quite an odd feeling.

I looked up to him " I am sorry but-" he cut me off at once " Keep your flirting movements out of your work life" he turned around and headed towards his office.

My mouth was half opened, I rolled my eyes and mimicked what he exactly said with an deep voice while watching him enter his office.

" I heard that" he shouted down the corridor oh my god I am so stupid, I slapped my lips in embarrassment and walked after him, entering his office.
