Sarah woke up the next morning, letting out a huge stretch. She looked beside her and noticed the bed was empty. Her brows furrowed as she scanned the room, but no Lily.

Standing up, she made her way to the bathroom attached to her bedroom, and saw Lily standing at the sink. They made eye contact through the mirror as Sarah leant against the doorframe with her arms folded. "Good morning." The teacher smiled.

"Morning." Lily looked down. Sarah could notice the sadness in her tone. It was silent for a moment before Lily spoke out. "I look ugly." She said, referring to the black bruise surrounding her eye.

Shocked at the comment, Sarah's eyes widened. She stepped forward and turned the student around to face her. Her eyes scanned her face, not speaking out a single word. Slowly, she brought her hand up and traced her thumb ever so lightly over the bruise, which Lily flinched at. She looked back into the younger blonde's eyes before leaning forward and kissing her softly on the lips. She seemed to always do that when Lily felt bad about herself. She did it in hope that Lily would forget about those things and focus on what was happening I guess. Lily kissed back of course, holding the other woman by the waist.

Sarah pulled back after a couple of seconds and rested her forehead against Lily's. She smiled faintly before whispering, "You look beautiful."

The student blushed at the comment and moved her hands from her teacher's waist and around to her back so she could pull her close. She rested her head on the older woman's shoulder as she felt her start to stroke her hair.

"What do you wanna do today?" Sarah chirped, brightening up the mood.

"Well, we can't exactly go out anywhere. Because it would look weird, so why don't we stay in and watch a movie?" Lily suggested, feeling a bit more confident.

Sarah laughed at her comment before kissing her softly on the head. "Sounds perfect."

She took the younger woman's hand in her own and began to lead her to the kitchen. Lily giggled like a kid at the feeling of being dragged through the house. Sarah was just in a large T-shirt and shorts too, which she looked really hot in.

Lily felt her the hand let go of hers as they reached the kitchen. Sarah began looking through cupboards, switching back and fourth to different ones.

"You cook?" Lily asked, nodding in the direction of some cook books on the counter.

"Pfft. Nope." Sarah chuckled. "I can't cook. I've tried. But, it's just not for me."

Lily smiled at her, slightly letting out a giggle. "I can cook."

"You can?" Sarah smirked. "Cook for me."

Lily almost choked. "What?"

"Cook for me."

"Seriously?" She laughed.

"Seriously." The teacher nodded.

"Okay." Lily replied smugly. She walked over to the older blonde and opened a cupboard. "Take a seat."

Sarah bit her lip playfully and lifted herself to sit down on the counter next to the stove. She watched Lily in awe, walking around the kitchen grabbing a few things. She did need assistance on how to work the stove though, which was funny.

After she mixed some ingredients in a bowl and poured into a pan, she let it sizzle as set herself in front of Sarah who was still on the counter. She stood in between the other woman's legs as she was eye level with her. Resting her hands on either side of her teacher, she smiled at her.

"What are you cooking?" Sarah placed her hands on the younger woman's shoulders.

"Pancakes, nothing fancy. You don't have much in." Lily winked.

"I haven't been shopping." Sarah teased back.

Lily felt butterflies erupt in her stomach. She was falling pretty damn hard for this woman, she just hoped Sarah felt the same. She didn't know what they were, especially since what they are doing is illegal. But who cares, love is love. And Lily believed she was in love.

...

After breakfast, Lily and Sarah sat on the sofa with a blanket and different kinds of chocolate they found in the fridge. They were watching Finding Nemo, seeing as they were both such kids. Lily was lay on Sarah's chest and Sarah had her arm around Lily, it felt so right. Even though, deep down it was wrong. But that didn't bother them.

"Sarah?" Lily spoke softly.

"Yeah?"

"What are your sisters like?" She asked curiously.

"Um... Well, they are nice. We used to fight a lot as kids but now we've grown up, we really rely on each other a lot. Which is why I'm always with Grace, because Liz works a lot. And Rachel is training to be an actress." The older blonde explained.

"Oh wow. They sound great. My brother's are nature freaks. They love hiking and camping, they do it a lot."

"What do you do? When you're at home." Sarah asked, wanting to find out more about Lily.

"Well, I paint. Or I like to just relax and listen to music, I'm boring." She chuckled.

"You're not boring! You can cook, that's a skill that protects you from being boring." The teacher laughed.

"I guess." Lily giggled back.

"I'll drive you home later, your father is probably worried about you and tomorrow is a school day. Ugh." Sarah groaned.

"Are you sure?" Lily became shy again.

"Of course." Sarah smiled. She started to trace small patterns on Lily's forearm out of habit as they continued to watch the movie.

"I'm scared about Hamish." Lily admitted. "I wonder what happened to him."

"Don't worry about him, try not to think about it. He'll be okay." Sarah assured her, even though she wanted Hamish dead for what he did.

Lily didn't respond, instead she nuzzled her face into Sarah's neck. She felt so happy that she was with someone who cared about her. Who was actually holding her and making her feel special. It's all she'd ever wanted. Even though it all could go wrong at any point, Lily thought it was a risk worth taking.
