Angel in Los Angeles

chapter 1

I misted myself with my favorite Chole perfume before making my way down the stairs.

"Ready, Melaine?" my mom asked as i double checked my outfit in the mirror.

I nodded eagerly. " Austyn is meeting us at the venue" I explained 

"Melaine!" Austyn bolted towards me and hugging me. She smiled releasing me. She wore her favorite pastry wedges and a Brandy Melville shirt. She bounced up and down.I  couldnt help but chuckle at her jittery self.  "Cody is going to look so sexy tonight!" She squeeled a little to loudly. Other fans turned toward us and gave us a look. I laughed taking her hands. 

"Calm" I giggled. 

she nodded and paused for a second. "Wait! what if one of us is the angel?" she cried. 

I laughed "out of a thousand or more girls...." I murmered.

"well you never know, Dream it be it" My mom cut in.

Austyn nodded "See Melaine? Dont be such a downer." She rolled her eyes 

We finally got into the venue. The heat was almost unbearable. Austyn still had'nt settled down.  Music began to play as Cody appeared on stage everyone screamed and cried uncontrollably reaching out for him. The thought of the heat and dizziness had left my mind. Austyn and I bounced up and down knowing every lyric and feeling every beat.

Finally it was time to pick the angel.  Austyn gazed up at cody expectantly. I didnt realize how dizzy or dehydrated I really was till it happned. Everything went black all I could hear was austyns panicked voice 

"Catch her! Catch her!"
