Chapter 19

*Louis’ POV*

I woke up at 1:30 in the morning to hear beautiful singing, and guitar playing coming from somewhere in the house.

“You know I’d fall apart without you. Don’t know how you do what you do. Cause everything that don’t make sense about me, makes sense when I’m with you. Like everything that’s green girl I need you, but if more than one and one makes two. But put aside the math and the logic of it, you gotta know you’re wanted too.”

Then there was harmony, and another guitar came in. I shook Harry awake.

“Wha- what’sgoingon?” he slurred.

“Shh. Listen. Come on.” I whispered.

He got up and walked over to the door with me. We crept down the hall and stopped at my room.

“I wanna wrap you up, wanna kiss your lips, I wanna make you feel wanted. I wanna call you mine, wanna hold your hand forever, and never let you forget it. Baby, I, wanna make you feel wanted.”

It was Kat and Drue singing, and I’m guessing that it was Kelsey and Sierra playing guitar. It sounded good. No, it sounded really good. It all blended so well.

Then an idea popped in my head.

The boys and I will be leaving for tour in a month. The girls knew, but we were all avoiding it, because it would mean Sierra and Kelsey going home, and Kat and Drue would be alone for months on end. But what if we could avoid that, what if we didn’t have to leave the girls.

Because they could come with us.

I knew that Simon was having a tough time finding us an opening act. It was a big job, and a huge time commitment. Plus, we couldn’t find many bands that actually fit with us.

The girls. They didn’t need a band, they had two brilliant guitar players, and two girls who were some of the best singers I have ever heard.

I looked over at Harry, and he looked at me.

“Lou,” He whispered, “are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

“The girls should come on tour with us.” I said, matter-of-factly.

Harry nodded, showing he and I were thinking the same.

“Let’s ask Liam.” He whispered.

So he and I quietly got up and walked down the hall to Liam’s room. After waking him, and Niall and Zayn, we all walked back down to my room. They girls were still singing, but had started a new song.

“Set me free. Leave me be. I don’t wanna fall another moment into your gravity. Here I am. And I stand, so tall, just the way I’m supposed to be. But you’re onto me, and all over me.”

Gravity, by Sara Barielles, is what I recognize them singing. I can’t help but think how beautiful they sound.

“Don’t you guys think they are perfect? And we know that we can get along with them, and that they would want to come with us, and that the fans would love them.” I whispered. They all nodded in agreement.

“Guys, let’s go call Simon and tell him we found the perfect opening act.” Zayn said quietly.

So that’s just what we did.
