Chapter 23
*Drue’s POV*
We all piled into the limo that was waiting outside. I still wasn’t used to this whole special treatment because my boyfriend was Harry Styles thing.
I was sitting in-between Katty and Harry. Harry had his arm around my waist and was holding my hand with the other. I still couldn’t believe it. I thought back to the first time we kissed and smiled.
We pulled up to the building. It was huge. I have never been in a building that big, let alone see one.
Harry sensed that I was nervous, so he gave me a little squeeze. It helped tremendously.
We walked up to the receptionist who politely pointed us in the direction of Simon Cowell’s office. I looked at Katty to see her clutching Louis’ hand as though it was a lifeline. Kelsey was walking very close behind Liam and was asking a bunch of questions, probably out of nerves. Sierra was holding hands with Zayn and looked the calmest of the group. The boys all seemed excited to see Simon.
Finally we reached the door.
Simon Cowell, CEO
Ok. Breathe Drue, breathe.
“UNCLE SI!” was all I heard before the boys broke away from us girls to see their beloved ‘uncle’.
“Hello boys, let’s bring the lovely ladies inside. Shall we?” Simon gestured to us.
Well, at least he called us lovely ladies…
We all stepped inside his office to see four chairs. The boys rushed to get them, probably because they didn’t want to stand the whole meeting. So us girls stood behind the chairs.
“Boys, up. I’m here to see the girls so they get the chairs.” Simon said. HA. That’s what they get when they don’t offer the women the chairs.
“So let’s get down to business girls. I am willing to hire you as the opening act for the One Direction tour, but there are rules, a contract, and certain things that will need to be changed and added. Right now, I need one of you to be in charge of the group. Please decide.”
I looked over at Kelsey, who was sitting next to me. She mouthed the word KAT, and I couldn’t agree more. I looked at Sierra who was on my other side, and said the same to her. She nodded.
“We want Katrina as our group spokesperson.” I said to Simon.
Katty looked taken aback, but quickly smiled and accepted the job.
“Good. Now to start, you girls need a group name. Something that is easily said and will really get people interested. We have some time to think about it, but it has to be decided in a week or so. Next, we need to compose a photo shoot, and get the publicity out about your new band. Also please know this girls, you are about to tour with One Direction. These boys have millions of fans all over the world. This means that when you tour with them your music will reflect how the world sees One Direction. This also implies that you can expect fan response to you girls, and whether good or bad you must know how to deal with it. And lastly, we feel that four is a bad number for a band. So you must find a keyboard player. Now let’s get to the signing.”
