Chapter 8

*Kat's POV*

I got a text from Louis.

To: Me

From: Louis (the sexy carrot god) Tomlinson

Hey, where are you? I'll pick you up and we can get lunch(:

Umm... I'm by some restaurant called Nandos? Do you know where that is? If so we can just eat there(:

YES! I will meet you there in 5

<Stripes>

I slipped my phone back in my small backpack I was carrying. I headed in the restaurant, waiting for Louis. He walked in the restaurant about 5 minutes later, like he said.

"Hey Kat." He said with a smile. I grinned and we sat down. A waitress came and took our order.

"She didn't freak out!" I said, quite shocked. The boys were extremely popular, and I found it surprising that the waitress wouldn't be screaming or doing something strange.

"Let's just say the boys and I come here a lot..." Louis said with a laugh. That's why he was so excited to come here.

"Cool!" I said.

We got our food, and we talked like we had known each other our whole lives. I am like a closed up book, but Louis somehow can read me. It amazes me how he can make me feel so comforting and happy.

We finished up and I went searching through my backpack for my wallet.

I had left it at home.

"Crap." I muttered.

"What's wrong?" Louis said, concerned.

"I left my wallet at your house... would you mind...?" I almost didn't say it. I had felt so bad.

"Don't worry about it." Louis said with a smile, and paid for my lunch.

"I promise I will pay you back when I get home." I said seriously.

"No. My treat, for you." Louis said back.

This boy will be the death of me.

I nodded, knowing that it was useless fighting.

We got up from the table we were at and started walking out to the car. Louis opened the door for me like a gentleman, and I prayed he hadn't seen me blush.

Soon we were driving home with the radio playing through the car.

I heard Ed Sheeran's song The A Team come one.

I started crying immediately, it brought back memories.

When I was 15 I started doing drugs. Yea, it was stupid, but it made since at the time. My life was crap, and the song almost explained what happened to me. I got addicted and almost became a prostitute. That is til Drue stopped me. I don't know how she did it, but I am still thanking her. She is the only person who knows about it.

*Flashback*

"Katty, please, think." I heard Drue's voice.

"Why shouldn't I? Might as well. I have nothing." I said, tears streaming down my eyes.

"You have me. And that is enough." Drue said simply before pulling me in to a hug.

I remember her being right.

****

"Kat?" Louis said as we pulled up to the house. He grabbed my hand.

"Lou, please turn it off." I said through sobs.

"Why? What's wrong?" Louis had pulled over the car.

I wanted to tell him.

"N-nothing." I said, trying so hard not to cry.

"Kat, I will not move this car unless you tell me. I won't let you leave and we will stay here until you tell me."

Ugh.

"Don't hate me..."
