"O-M-G! This is like a British Invasion of hunks!" Nigel exclaimed behind me as soon as I managed to make it into the living room where everyone was gathered.
The place was beautifully decorated in copper and golden tones. Nigel was our trusted hairdresser, I circled my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly, trying to find some comfort in a friendly face.
"Hi, beautiful! You look amazing but your ends are so split they might as well file for divorce! You need to come and see me," he said grabbing a string of hair from my ponytail.
"Next week I'll be knocking on your door, promise!"
"You have to tell me where I can find a Brit of my own," he stated as he continued to scan the place with his eyes.
"Well, I haven't landed one of my own either, so I guess we can both figure it out," I lied shrugging and forcing a smile.
Nigel pressed his lips into a fine line and widened his eyes as I felt someone poking on my shoulder. I turned around and there he was: sporting his classic black skinny jeans and an ivory sheer shirt that revealed his chest and arm tattoos through the fabric. His perfect curls pulled back and falling over his shoulders. He got more and more attractive every time I saw him.
"I thought that was you!" Harry grinned while hugging me, "surprise," he whispered in my ear while pressing his hand on my exposed back and a long kiss on my cheek.
"Hey H! Nice to see you again," I was keeping it as casual as I could while shivering under his touch, being an actress was handy in those situations.
He slightly pulled away and looked at me tilting his head disoriented. His face relaxed when he glanced at Nigel from the corner of his eye , suddenly understanding my behavior.
"Nice to meet you, mate," he let go of me and shook Nigel's hand.
"Oh, trust me, the pleasure is all mine," he replied pressing his hand to his chest in the most flirtatious way possible.
Harry faced me again squeezing my shoulder, "I'm over there with J and Niall, see you in a bit, yeah?"
"Sure!" I smiled briefly and turned back to Nigel as he walked away.
Nigel watched him live with a smile until his eyes widened and his jaw dropped facing me he said, "Oh my God, you two fucked!"
I choked, "Excuse me?!"
"The sexual tension there, you could cut it with a knife! Oh my god!" he was ecstatic.
My heart started pounding, "He's just a nice guy, and friends with J's boyfriend, you know from One Direction" I tried to explain, I liked Nigel a lot but I wasn't eager to discuss that topic with him. God knows he would share a lot of gossip with me every time I saw him.
"Oh come on! You can't lie to me!" He insisted.
"I'm walking away from this conversation," I waved my hand in dismissal, hearing Nigel's voice whining behind me as I walked across the room where my friends were. And Harry. Mainly him actually. It was like a magnetic force, my body physically hurt in need of having him as near as I could.
"Hey, you!" Niall opened his arms greeting me with a hug, as cheerful as always, making Harry turn around to give me an adorable grin.
"Hi, guys!" I said while hugging Niall and J who shrugged and shook her head trying to explain Harry's presence.
Niall and J seemed so comfortable and infatuated with one another, I was glad to witness it. She had a rough time in the past with dating the wrong men over and over again. But this time it looked like she was finally with a genuinely good guy. We were discussing what to drink next when I spotted Amy beckoning us to join her in the kitchen. I squeezed J's hand, we excused ourselves and headed where she was.
