"DO YOU REALLY have to go?" I murmured pressing my lips to her neck; she was standing in between my legs as I sat on a kitchen stool, the smell of her perfume increasing my desire to devour her.
I wondered if there would be a point in our relationship where I'd stop wanting her so feverishly, but the feeling seemed to increase the further I got to know and love her.
"I do," she said seconds before the bell rang, destroying every intention I had of bending her over the kitchen counter, "that must be Jill!"
Growling in disapproval, I squeezed my legs around her. She whimpered in response and I shook my head silently smirking at her reaction.
"H! I have to go!" she complained throwing her head back playfully and I muffled her voice by roughly pressing my lips to hers. I knew she had to leave, but couldn't help but enjoy her presence for a little bit longer.
We both giggled at her failing attempts of freeing herself from my legs until, with a mischievous glimpse, she poked the sides of my body. My weak spot. I flinched unintentionally, and she broke free of me.
Minutes later, Jill walked into the kitchen. She was a pretty girl, petite, short brunette hair, big brown eyes framed by defined eyebrows and she always had an almost constant smile on her face. I hadn't seen her many times before that, but she was always friendly, polite and a bit reserved around me. Olivia cared deeply for her and that always made me go the extra mile to try and make her feel as comfortable as she could around me.
"Hi, Jill!" I greeted her as soon as I set eyes on her.
"Hi, Harry! Sorry, I didn't bring you coffee..." she regretted biting the inside of her cheek.
I beamed, "It's alright, I've just had some! How are the wedding plans going?"
She looked at me, eyes wide, "It's going good, thanks! A bit stressful but good, thanks for asking!" She blurted at the fastest pace I've ever heard.
Almost in sync, Jill and I looked back at Olivia who was poking her head around the kitchen door. "Should we get going?", Live said.
"Yes, sure!" Jill turned around to look at me before going outside, "it was nice seeing you again, Harry," she nodded in full politeness. I wondered if she was as shy around Matthew too.
"Nice to see you too," I managed to say stretching my neck as she walked past Olivia heading to the front door, "Baby? I'm not getting a goodbye kiss?" I pouted pointing at my mouth.
She smiled and swiftly approached me with arms wide open, my heart melted as she wrapped them around me, ghosting tiny kisses all over my face and finally landing on my lips for a firm and long smooch, "God, I love you," I murmured my feelings in full honesty because I did, I loved her more than anything.
"I love you... forever," Liv mumbled quietly in my ear before pressing one last kiss on my cheek. My stomach leaped because something about her words, about her tone, something felt different that morning.
I longingly watched through the kitchen window how they left the driveway, as the front black gate slowly closed down. It took me a couple of seconds to drift back from the insightful state I was left at. I got up from the stool and without much thought loaded the dishwasher with what we used during breakfast and went straight to the shower.
"Harold my long-lost and in love friend!" James said snickering as soon as he picked up my call. I had been in L.A. for over a month and my life was pretty much revolving around Olivia. Therefore, I couldn't do much but laugh at my friend's playful reproach.
"Hi mate, it's good to hear you haven't lost your sense of humour!" I continued to laugh as drops from my damp hair fell on my still unbuttoned shirt.
