If you are reading this it means you finished Home which instantly makes you one of my favorite people in the world. I'll begin then by saying THANK YOU, for your time, for your support and for loving this story as much as I do.
Home started in June of 2016 as a project for my English class. As many of you know, and probably most of you imagine, English is not my first language so this has been a double challenge for me. While preparing for taking an English exam, I realized I needed some extra writing practice and thought Wattpad was a good place to do it. Getting people to read it wasn't even part of my dreams as I kept it even from my closest friends for the first couple of months. Then snowwhitenat found out and (being my favorite grammar nazi and an extremely caring friend) she became my first reader, helped me polish many things and continued to be always there for me.
Writing has always been my thing. I used to write poems for my dad on Father's Day, win awards in writing competitions at school and write short scripts for my friends to act during breaks in high school. Nobody questioned it and I even had the responsibility of writing love letters for my friends' boyfriends. Then blogs came along and I had a couple of those, but fiction was something I always thought wasn't for me.
Starting this story was the highlight of my year because I proved to myself that I could write a fiction that other people could be interested in reading, but mainly because it gave me the amazing chance of getting to know a lot of people from across the globe through this amazing community. I'm forever grateful for this amazing chance.
Truth be told, I grew extremely fond of Harry, Olivia and the rest of the gang and I just can't let them go that easily. So, I'm here to announce that Home will have a sequel and it's called Cheshire.
I have to thank torirenaelee for convincing me to publish this sequel even when it meant getting major plot spoilers, she has become an irreplaceable piece of my life as a friend and fellow writer. I'm extremely excited about continuing to tell how this love story evolves through time.
