When we got home Kara brought me up in the elevator and when we got to the door she opened it then as soon as we stepped inside, she put her hands over my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Just trust me, we have a surprise for you," she told me.
When we walked into a room Kara removed her hands to show me the coolest room I have ever seen.
"Is this for me?!" I asked.
"Yes!" Kara said.
"I love it! Thank you so much," I said giving them all a big hug.
"I'm glad you like it," Alex said.
They left me to admire the room and went out to the kitchen. When I finally came out, Eliza had just finished making dinner. She had made spaghetti with red sauce. As soon as we sat down to eat, Kara and Alex's phones both rang, after the disapproving look from their mom, they quickly answered the phone saying it was work. When they came back Kara was in her Supergirl suit and she ran out the big window and flew away. Alex came back and told us that there was a whole floor of people stuck in a building that was on fire. She also said that Kara might not be back for a while. We decided to just eat without Kara. It was kind of awkward because Kara is usually the one who starts conversations, so we just ate in silence with a little bit of talking here and there.
