Super Sisters

Chapter 10

When Kara and I got to Cat-co, she practically ran all the way up muttering about how she was gone way too long and Cat was going to kill her.
"KEIRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!" Cat screamed.
"I'm here, I'm here," Kara said as she ran into Cat's office panting.
"Where have you been?" Cat asked.
"I -- um -- I," Kara started to say.
"She needed to come pick me up from somewhere and we got lost," I told Cat as I walked in.
"Who is this?" Cat asked.
"It's my -- um -- my sister," Kara replied.
"Your sister?" Cat asked.
"Yeah, she is my little sister. I told you how my parents died in a fire, well she went to an orphanage after that and I finally found her again. She lives with me," Kara replied.
"That's cool," Cat said.
"So why were you yelling my name?" Kara asked.
"Oh I need you to run down to he art studio and get the layouts for tomorrow's edition," she responded. 
"How about I go get them?" I said.
"Why is Kiera unable to?" Cat asked.
"I was just offering to do something nice for my sister," I replied.
"Well I think Kiera can do it for herself, now run Kiera" Cat said.
Kara and I left the room and about halfway down the hall I made Kara stop and I ran down and got them for her. When I got back up I handed the layouts to Kara and she turned around and ran back to Cat's office. When Kara walked into Cat's office, Cat closed the door behind Kara. I turned around and say on the edge of Winn's desk. James walked up and we sat there watching Cat and Kara.
"What do you think their talking about in there?" James asked.
"I don't know," Winn asked," Mora can you figure it out?"
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"You know, figure it out," he said pointing at his ear.
"Oh," I said finally figuring it out. I used my super hearing to listen in on their conversation.
"You never told me that you had a little sister," Cat said.
"Well I don't really talk about my family with you," Kara replied.
"Well that should change, here have a seat," Cat said.
"Uh oh," I said to Winn and James.
"What?"
"They're talking about me and Kara's family," I told them.
"So how old were you and your sister when your parents died?" Cat asked Kara.
"Well, I was 20 and she was 1," Kara lied.
"Wow, young," Cat said.
"Yeah," Kara replied.
"So what is her name?" Cat asked.
"Mora," Kara responded.
"Pretty," Cat said,"does she live with you?"
"Yeah, my foster mom and my sister help me," Kara said to Cat.
"Ok, well she can come anytime. How old is she?" Cat asked.
"Thanks and she's four," Kara replied.
"So is she going to be in preschool?" Cat asked.
"Yeah," Kara responded.
"Well maybe after school she can come here and hang out with Carter," Cat said.
"Yeah maybe," Kara replied.
"Well I'll let you get back to work," Kara said to Cat.
"Ok and Kiera make an appointment with my therapist for after I have lunch with my mother tomorrow," Cat told Kara.
"Will do."
