Chapter 17

Kara's POV
When Felicity had traced the video we found out that they were streaming from a warehouse on the corner of Hamilton and Loan street. Flash, Arrow, Speedy, Black Canary, Dig, and I went there. I flew, flash ran, arrow and speedy jumped from building to building, and dig and black canary drove there on dig's motorcycle.
"Just grab Mora and get out of there you don't have to fight him today," Alex said through our headset.
"No! They crossed the line and they will pay for it," I replied.
"Kara you're not evil! Just bring them into the DEO and we will handle it," Alex said.
"Fine," I responded bitterly.
Oliver and Thea jumped in front of me just as the flash ran up.
"Dig and Laurel are going to close in from the other side, Thea will go in from the left, I will take the front and Kara and Barry take the right," Ollie said.
"Ok," they all agreed as they spread out.
As we closed in I could hear them talking to Mora. I could also hear her crying. I silently started to weep. Barry pulled me into a hug. As he rubbed my back I realized how crying will just delay us from getting to Mora. I quickly pulled away and wiped my tears. I put on my game face and slowly opened the big black door. As planned, the door let in a stream of light exposing me. The scare pair charged at me. I saw a red blur run in front of me and swipe the bad guys into the wall. I ran to Mora and quickly untied her from the chair. She jumped out of the chair and into my arms. I grabbed her and flew through the ceiling. When Mora was safe outside with Laurel, I ran back inside. I saw the flash unconscious on the ground. I ran to him and shook him until he woke up. He got up and looked around realizing that we failed to capture the scare pair.

When we got back to the DEO, I set Mora down and she ran into Alex's arms. I watched as the tension in Alex's brain released.
"Mora, thank god," Alex said picking Mora
up.
"Mommy saved the day again!" Mora said happily.
"Yes she did," Alex said putting Mora down. She quickly ran into my arms begging me to pick her up. I put her in my arms. She laid her head down o my shoulder and put her arms around my neck.
"Why don't we go home? We've had a long few days," I suggested to Mora.
"Ok," Mora agreed.
"I'll actually come with you, if that's ok with you?" Alex said Hank.
"Go ahead," Hank allowed Alex.
We went out to dinner to Mora's favorite place. We were walking from the car to the restaurant when Mora stopped at a window.
"Puppies!" Mora exclaimed.
"Come on Mora," Alex told her.
"Aunt Alex! I want a puppy," Mora said to me.
"I don't think so Mora maybe when your a little bit older," Alex replied.
"No! Puppy now!" Mora insisted.
"No Mora," Alex said.
"Yes aunt Alex," she whined.
"Kara a little help here," Alex asked.
"Aww look at this little guy," I said.
"Kara!" She yelled.
"Let's get one Alex!" I exclaimed.
"Kara now would be a good time to be an adult," Alex said to me.
"No! Come on Alex let's get one!" I said.
"Yay! Puppy!" Mora exclaimed.
"How about we eat then we can maybe look at the puppies," Alex offered.
"Fine," I said taking Mora's hand and walking into the restaurant.
