Medicine check. My least favorite part of my day, organizing medicine into a bunch of tiny cups, and checking off the names of all the patients. Not only that but, I'm dreading to see Dan. I'm dreading the small talk and handling of medicine as I enter that cell.

"Bell, you don't look very well," Jill says as she takes a peak of my face on the side; "is everything okay?"

"I'm fine," I press my lips together, and pull a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Well, you can talk to me whenever you need to, okay?" She gives a reassuring pat on my back.

"Thanks Jill- oh by the way, Dan agreed to you joining in on his plan. He says as long as you get in his way he's fine with it," I remind her of the topic.

"Oh my god, that's good news to hear! I was scared he would say no and kill me in my sleep," she takes a breather.

"He's not that scary, to be honest," I start placing trays of medicine on the counter.

"Have you heard the things he's done to people? Word is.. He once ripped someone's ear off with his own teeth!" Jill shudders a bit.

My resting bitch face turns into a 'bitch please' face. I scoff at the rumor Jill had revealed, shaking my head, "he's violent but, nothing like that."

"It seems like you're defending him," Jill states.

"Never in a million years will I defend that arse. I just don't believe he's capable to doing something so psychotic," I wail my arms around a tad.

"Then you haven't been at West Ham long enough to notice that he's dangerous. Like, hello! Look at where you work. I mean... he is forcing you to help him with you know..." She starts filling cups up with specific meds.

"You should be talking you basically begged to be involved in it. He promised I wouldn't get in trouble so that's the best of hope I'm getting at. I didn't ask to be his nurse, I was just-"

"Being nosy," Jill cuts me off.

"I was just trying to find answers," I say under my breath.

"Fine, it's not like you're falling for a dangerous psychopath, so what's there to worry about?" She finishes up the last cup.

"Yeah, you're right on that," I laugh at her stupid remark, shaking my head a bit.

I can't ever imagine falling for a psycho.

"Speaking of falling for people, do you have anyone you're seeing at the moment?" She changes the topic.

"Yeah, actually. How did you know?" I raise a brow at her.

"Just making small talk. It's been a while since I've actually talked about romance and girl problems rather than what types of medicines I serve my patients," she leans against the wall, folding her arms.
