edit: hey everyone, i wanna apologize for the long wait. i know i stopped updating this story for years, literally, however i think you guys deserve an ending to this story at least. i truly love the plot i came up w/ but as i grew up i started to realize i wasn't happy with my writing and it's style, therefore i took a long hiatus.

also, as i grew up i noticed this story just didn't sit well with me. as much as i acknowledge and bring light to this, i still want to remind everyone that in no way am i trying to purposefully romanticize mental illnesses. i had a lot of the wrong info when i was young and used those for a plot. if you suffer from any mental illness, thats okay. it's okay to talk about it and get the help you need. im always a dm away if anyone needs a hand and you won't ever have to suffer alone. you are loved and important no matter what happens. never forget your worth.

i personally feel like my writing has improved, but i must admit, i have lost a lot of inspo and ideas for this story. i still remember the ending so with that, i'll continue on the story. if anything confuses you just remember it'll make sense in the end. the last few parts have been dragged out but for plot reasons it had to happen. the next chapter should spice it up and explain it all. the beginning of this chapter was written years ago so if the writing style changes, that's why. also if i accidentally forget any information that confuses anyone then im sorry and don't be afraid to call me out on it! lol, ill use it to my advantage to improve. anyways, enjoy! xx cass.

Back to Arabellas POV;;

"Guys... I'm leaving," I stand up, gathering a few things.

Jill stops me, "what are you talking about? You must stay here! It's dangerous out there, especially if you get lost."

I shake my head, "Dan is out there with Joey right now and they haven't even gotten back yet. Our food supply is running low and the person who hurt you probably left the area already. We need to find ourselves a hotel to stay at!"

"As much as that sounds like a good plan, Jill is right. We need to stay here. If you go out and they come back, that's another person we'll be waiting for," Aliyah says, her eyes clearly showing defeat.

"Dan?!" Phil pops his head up.

Sounds of the leaves crunching became present. I turn my back to watch the leaves move as the noise grew louder. I crossed my fingers and hoped for Dan.

But instead I only saw Joey.

"Joey?! Where's Dan?!" I ask worriedly.

"Bell..." he frowns.

"Danny?..." Phil mumbles, his head hanging low.

"Listen to me guys, whoever attacked Jill is still out there and working for Dan. They just attacked us and I... I tried guys, I really tried to help but something snapped in Dan... They both tried to kill me but I ended up losing them. I took off the minute I noticed his change. He's evil guys. His plan all along was to bring us here and to hurt us. I ran as fast as I could to protect you guys. We need to leave immediately before they try coming for all of us. I'm sorry, I'm truly sorry. I should of known better and been more observant," Joey chokes out a sob in complete despair.

"Dan fleeing?" My mouth drops to a frown.

"I'm sorry it had to be that way Bell. He's not a good person..." Joey rubs my arm.

I shove away his hand, "you're lying... He wouldn't leave us like that! He wouldn't hurt us! He wouldn't leave Phil like that! He... He wouldn't leave me like that...."

"Joey is trying to protect us Bella. We need to go," Jill sternly says, acting the most serious she's been the entire night.

"Where is this coming from?! Let's just think about this for a second! This isn't adding up, I don't believe you! We can't leave without finding Dan, this isn't like him," My voice raises.
