Chapter 28

I throw my purse onto the couch as i then fall to sit down. Henry and Roland walk in next and turn around as they ask Tink to go out in the front yard and play soccer with them. Tink nods as Henry grabs his ball up in his room and runs back down the white staircase out the door.

"You kids be careful I don't want anybody hurt," I say as I sit up and grab my purse and take out the picture.

Robin enters the room as a wave of forest smells come through into the house. He looks over at me and fixes his jacket and asks," What's that in your hand?"

"It's...um...well...Echo!" I say smiling up at him.

His face looks at me in awe as he sits beside me, and takes the pictures from my hand," Mmmm. She looks like her mommy."

I laugh hysterically at his words," Now how would you be able to see that?"

"I don't. But I know," He says as he looks over me and smiles then says once again," We are having a baby? Huh? This is real."

"Yes....its real," I say happily and grab his hand.

"No! I won!" Tink screams as they walk through the front door.   

"Whatever we beat you by 6!" Roland says as he tries to hold up his fingers.

Robin and I laugh as Tink and Roland fight over who won when I see Henry walk in and ask," Mom! Dad! Could we maybe go to the Soccer field down by the park? It's only a few blocks away. Please..." finishes while begging.

Robin looks over and me as I respond," Yes, you guys go get in the car. Robin and I are coming. We have to grab the keys."

Henry, Roland, and Tink nod as they run all the way to the car seeing who will get there first. Robin jumps up from the couch and claps his hands as he grabs me and helps me up from the couch forcing me to swing into his arms.

"Why are you so happy?" I ask Robin as he kisses me on the cheek.

"We are Nesoki free," Robin responds and he picks me up bride style and spins me around twice as I start to get dizzy.

"Yes we are," I say as I get from his arms and grab the keys and toss them to Robin as we make it out the door.

"I got it!" I hear Henry say as he steals the ball from Tink and tries to kick it towards the goal.

"No I got it!" Roland says as he goes over and picks up the soccer ball and runs into the goal and finished," I win!"

Tink then runs over and grabs Roland and turns him upside down which causes him to laugh endlessly.

I sit on the bench on the sideline beside Robin and he says," Regina? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. We have been here for almost all day and I want to just kick the ball once. I haven't played since I was a kid," I say as I smile then look out at Tink and the boys.

"Go right ahead. The boys aren't going to mind. You can go kick it one time before we have to leave its getting dark," Robin says as he grabs my hand and picks me up from the bench just to drag me on the field.

"Mommy! Are you going to play?" Roland asks as he brings the ball up to me as I grab it and nod my head," But only once!"

I put the ball on the ground and look out at the goal. I'm around 30ft from the goal as I kick around getting closer to the goal when Robin jumps out in front of me which makes me stop.

"I thought I get one shot," I ask as Robin finishes," if you can get past me."

"Deal," I say as I kick it through his legs and run around him for the ball. I kick it faster when he gets ahead again so I kick the ball in the air and hit it with my knee over him. I then run around and kick it in the goal.

"Where did you learn that my queen?" Robin asks as he runs infront of me and kisses me on the lips.

"I told you I've played before," I tell him which cause everyone to giggle," Okay it's time to go home now."

Tink runs over to me and says," Regina! I've never seen you this happy in ages."

"I guess I just got what I wanted," I say as I lay my hand on my stomach and look out at Robin chasing the boys to the car.

"Good night boys. You both have school tomorrow so I don't want to hear anybody up at all," I say as I shut the door of Henry and Roland's room.

I walk back to my room to open the door to a fresh smell of forest shampoo filling the air. I look to the bathroom to see Robin drying his hair in his boxers.

I go to my bed and lay down with my legs over the end as I snap my finger and change into a black tank top and grey silk pants. I put my legs onto the bed and get under the cover as I lay down with my back propped up on the bed frame. I look down at my bracelet as I hear Robin get into the bed.

He opens his arms as I move over and lay on his chest. As he wraps his arm around me. I lay my hand on my stomach and rub it twice as Robin says," How's she doing?"

"She's fine....I never expected us to actually gets child ...you know...together," I say as I look at Robin smiling.

Robin smiles back as he lays his hand on my stomach as I grab Robins torso with both my hands when Echo kicks.

"Well she must be happy," Robin says laughing.

"Happy you're her father," I say as I kiss him on the cheek and then lay my head back down as I drift back to sleep.
