Chapter 45

I grab my black purse laying on the desk with crumpled paper filled to the top and then toss Echos toys in a box to the side.

I grab Echo and put her on my side as Robin grabs her bag and follows me out the door to the car.

I open the backseat and place Echo in her car seat and then buckle her as Robin gets in the passenger seat and starts the car.

I get into the car and pull out the parking lot and drive to our house only minutes away.

"Regina, So how was your day?" Robin asks me as he helps me get a piece of hair out of my mouth.

"It was good," I lie as I turn the corner on our road," I finished most of my work."

Robin nods in his head as we pull up to the house. Robin gets out Echo and places her on the ground as she runs up to the door and tries to open it.

"The door is broken. I broke it!" She cries loudly.

I run over to Echo tries to calm her down," Look Echo...watch," I say after taking my key and opening the door.

"You fixed it!" Echo says as she runs through the door to play with her toys all over the living room table.

"Where are Henry and Roland? Shouldn't they be here already?" Robin asks me as he looks at the time on his watch.

Echo grabs my hand and stares out in empty space and then mumbles," Hospital. Lights. Brothers."

"What ,honey?" I say as I squat down to be level with Echo.

"Phone," She says as she points to the phone when it lights up and starts to ring loudly.

As I start to stand up I look at Robin and then go the phone shocked. I pick up the call to hear a panicking Rose.

"Auntie Regina!" The 8 year old screams through the phone.

"Henry and Roland...they were in a car accident! My mom is trying to keep them awake. They in front of our house. There is no other car. Henry said he saw a bright light and then as the light went out there was a tree feet away. Hurry We are heading to the hospital!" I hear her say after dropping the phone in shock.

I start feeling nauseated as I lose my balance running to the door. My head is spinning. I grab the keys as Robin follows," What happened?"

I regain my balance and reply," Henry and Roland there were in a wreck. Get Echo and let's go!"

"Henry....Roland," I sigh as I run in the hospital room to see Roland with a bandage on his head and Henry with a sling on his shoulder and cuts on his face.

A nurse walks in to apply more medicine to there tubes as I ask her," What's wrong with them?"

"Henry Mills has a slight dislocation in his shoulder and suffered glass cuts on his face," She says plugging in more medicine into the bag before finishing," Roland Hood has a bruise and bleed on his head and has been stitched up."

I look over at Robin and hug him tightly silently sobbing after the nurse leaves the room.

I bury my head in his shoulder grabbing his jacket trying to make the pain go away when I hear the door to the hospital room open.

"Regina," I hear a familiar voice whisper.

I turn with tears running down my face and my eyes red to see my sister standing in the doorway before running towards me and hugging her tightly.

"I'm so sorry. It's all my fault," Zelena says as she hugs me tightly.

"No...it wasn't your fault. You saved them," I say pulling back from our hug trying to wipe Zelena's tears.
