Chapter 36

I walk through the chambers of a castle. I feel the walls as they start to warm up. I look around trying to find a way out when I see Hades standing in front of me with a baby in his hand.

I jump for Hades as he stabs me in the stomach as I choke on my blood screaming Echos name.

I wake up from the nightmare screaming tossing and turning the covers. I look around the room grabbing my hair then checking down at my stomach to make sure it's still there.

"Regina!" Robin says as he sits up and holds my hand trying to calm me down.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Robin says as he tries to move my hair from infront of my face as it falls back.

"Nothing," I shake my head and hang my legs over the edge of the bed.

"Regina dear," Robin says as he runs around the bed and over to the other side. I look up at him as I watch the sun start to rise in his eyes.

"I need Henry and Roland. Today we have to find Hades and finish this. I'm not letting him hurt anyone else," I say as anger fills in my eyes.

I snap my fingers as I stand up and change into a loose black dress with black leggings as Robin changes into his normal forest smelling self.

"Where could we even think of finding him? The forest? The station? Granny's?" I mutter walking down the hallway as I watch Tink play with Roland in the other room as I nod telling her what I'm about to do. She nods back.

"Regina....Regina!" Robin says as he follows me down the stairs and then makes me stop as I reach the floor and turn around.

"What Robin?" I say grabbing the keys.

"You aren't going anywhere without me. Echo and you are my responsibility," Robin says as he grabs the keys from my hands.

"Wait. At least let me drive, I haven't drove the car in forever," I tell Robin as I grab the keys back from him as he nods.

I step into the car having to move the seat backwards so I can fit my stomach in between the steering wheel and the seat. I grab the wheel as crank the car with my other hand as Robin shuts the door on the passenger side.

We drive off to find Zelena and Cora trying to break into a old abandoned house.

"Zelena!" I say angrily watching them breaking at least 3 laws.

"Regina?....what are you doing here? You need to leave," Zelena whispers to me.

"Don't tell me to lea-" I say before I'm stopped as Zelena throws a hand up causing my mouth to shut with her powers.

I open the door of the car and step out as she steps closer to me," He is here. You need to go."

My eyes widen as I grab Zelenas hand forcing it down so I can speak," Mother."

"Regina, I'm not letting you go in there. I don't know what he will do," Mother tells me as she looks through the window.

"I know what I will do. I'm getting my sons back. I'm protecting my daughter. He is not touching any of them,"  I say walking closer to the building.

"Regina," Robin says as he grabs onto my black coat," you aren't going in there. I won't risk it," he finishes choking on his tears.

"I will be fine...Tink has Roland and Emma has Henry. They are both safe. So am I. He won't hurt me," I say as I feel a tear form in my eyes.

"I'm going with you," Zelena says as she grabs my other hand and Mother grabs Zelenas other hand.

"I walk in first," Robin says as Zelena buds in," and me."

"You are coming in the back where you can't get hurt," Mother says as she grabs my head with both hands and kisses me on the forehead as I nod.

Robin gets his bow and arrows from the car and aims his arrow as he opens the door and kicks it slightly to hear it creak.

Robin and Zelena walk in front with me following and Mother in the back.

"Where is he?" Mother says as she closes the door and looks around," He was just here."

Robin lowers his bow as Zelena lowers her fireball in her hand when the door behind Mother flings open," Well look what the curse brought in."

Robin and Zelena quickly jump infront of me as I start to question Hades," What are you doing here?"

"I thought that maybe....just maybe if I could get your mother and sister to find me. I would get you. Get you why you wonder? Well so I could do this," Hades says as he holds his hand up in a choke motion.

I fall the ground crumbling up in a ball trying to scream but can't. I can't breathe. I can't talk. My eyes start to black in and out and blur until I hear a body hit the wall. I slightly open my eyes to see Robin clinging Hades against the wall screaming words at him I couldn't understand.

My ears ring as I look around when the world just starts again and I hear everything. The screaming. My mothers cries. Zelena's rage. Everything. I prop myself up on one arm as my body lays on the floor.

"Robin..." I mumble as I feel blood trickling down my nose.

"Regina! Stay back he did this to you! I'm have to make him pay," Robin says as I see rage in his eyes.

"Not this way Robin. Your daughter. She can't live fatherless. He's too powerful. I can't lose you," I say as I see Robins eyes soften as he looks at Hades when he throws a hand up sending Robin plunging to the wall behind me as I scramble to hold him.

"Hades!" Zelena screams as she tries to run towards him but isn't strong enough.

"You will never get near my family," Mother screams as she stands up and shoots a blue electrical wave of energy to Hades causing him to shake violently.

Mother is then sent to the ground as Hades deflects her magic and says loudly," Now.... My queen, you aren't the ruler now are you?"

I look through the window behind Hades when I see a shadow behind him. The shadow comes out and chokes Hades until his face explodes into ash.

I grab Robin tighter as I look at the dark figure. It looks up at me and nods my head when it changes into a familiar face.

"Stone," Zelena screams as she stands up and runs over to Stone to give him a hug.

"Thank you," I mouth as I look at Stone then down at Robin as he smiles as we both feel Echo kick.

All safe and sound.
