One week later....

Brandon's POV

I look up from my book as Feather slams a glass in front of me. "What is up with you lately?" She asks. I shrug. I know I haven't been acting like myself lately.

I've been trying to put some distance between me and Feather, hoping that it will stop my emotions toward her. I pick up my book again. "Brandon?" She asks. I turn away from her.

It's for the best.
It's for the best
It's for the best

"Brandon! Answer me!" She orders. I could tell that she's trying her best not to yell. I look up at her. "Yes?" I reply nonchalantly, as if I haven't been ignoring her for the past week.

"Why are you acting so weird? It's like you've been a totally new person.." She trails off. "Mmhmm?" I reply. She looks a little hurt.

"Brandon? Why-- why won't you talk to me?" She asks, her voice just above a whisper. I made the mistake of looking back into her eyes, which were filling with tears. "I dunno..." I say, acting like I don't care.

"Oh....... Well.... Uh.... I guess I'll stop...... Bothering you..." She said softly. She turns her back to walk away.

"...thanks." I say, nailing the last nail into the coffin. Her back stiffens. "N-no...... Problem..." She said, her voice barely above a whisper. My heart ached when I heard a soft sniffle.

(Oh Brandon, my sweet little cinnamon biscuit... What have you done?)

It hurts.....

I don't like to see her cry...

It hurts me to see her sad....

Did I make the right decision?

Oh! Brandon you fool!

It doesn't maybe how much you love her,

It doesn't matter that she will be the end of you,

You are her guide.

You're supposed to he there for her,

Guide her....

Have hope in her.....

Believe in her....

Believe that she will free Terraria from the corruption.

You are doing this for the world's betterment.

I am her guide.

The guide she needs....

To be Terraria's hero.

I made a mistake.

I need to apologize.

I quickly set my book down.

Where is she?

My instincts tell me to go check our room, but I highly doubt she'll be there.

Hmm.

The roof.

That's it!

Three days ago, she built a patio on the roof and she's been hanging up there!
