Feather's Point of View"Hmmhmm.." I hummed while chewing on the end of my pencil.
Right infront of me were blueprints for the village.... Town.... Thing?
I swear.... Things are changing so fast..
I could've sworn only yesterday I was building the original house.... For me and Brandon....
.... Gosh..... It's crazy....
I'm....... I'm not sure I like how fast things are changing..... But...
..... I guess life's life....
And I can't change that?
"Hey. What'cha workin' on, Feather?" I hear a voice behind me.
I jump a little and accidentally smudged some lead on the blue prints.
"Dangit, Darius! Don't scare me like that!" I shrieked.
"Heh... Sorry.... " Darius apologized,"So what are you working on?" He took a seat across from me.
I quickly redrew some lines.
"Blue prints. I'm designing new buildings......"
Darius raised an eyebrow and gave me an amused expression.
" 'bout time. This place was ripe for a town." Darius said. He stood up and walked over to me, keeping his eyes on the blueprints.
"And you're going to run it, Feather. Just think about it. Your own town. With tons of people!"
I let out a nervous chuckle.
Darius put his hand on my shoulder.
"You're gonna go far, Feather."
He left the room, leaving me to my own devices.
I looked over the blue prints one more time.
Is this a good idea?
It's been this way for so long....
How are the others going to react?
Will they be ready for this change??
Am I ready for this change?
Doubt filled my mind before it cleared the instant I heard his voice.
"Hi Feather!" Brandon said, cheerfully.
I turned around to be greeted to a warm smile and bright eyes.
"Hey Brandon." I reply. I uneasily turned back to the blueprints.
Brandon peered over my shoulder.
"Looks good!"
"Ehhh.... I don't know.."
It was quiet for a while before I turned my head to face him.
He had a puzzled expression.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... What if everyone hates the change.. Creating a town and all.... What if I make a mistake? What if everyone hates what I do? What if.... What if I'm going to be a terrible lead---"
"First of all, Stop doubting yourself! Second of all, even if you do make a mistake, you're learning. No-one's born perfect. Third of all.... No one will hate you... You'll always have me and I'll love anything you do." Brandon ranted.
He blushed after he said the last thing.
"S--sorry....."
I smiled before I gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"Never apologize for being amazing."
Sebastian's POV
I quickly walked into the room after seeing Feather kiss his cheek.
"Feather! Feather! I just remembered something!" I shouted.
She became startled, and stopped staring lovingly at Brandon.
"Sebastian?!? What is it?!" Feather looked at me, panicked.
Brandon glared at me for a split second.
"I just remembered! There's a girl stuck in the dungeon!"
That was partly a lie.
I remembered two days ago, but I waited until I needed to get Feather out of the house.
She jumped out of the chair.
"WHAT??? I need to go!" She instantly ran out of the room.
Brandon's glare seemed to tear into me more. He knows that I didn't "just remember".
"I'm going to help her get ready." Brandon snarled as he stood up.
I grabbed his arm.
"When she leaves, I need to talk to you.."
He shook my hand off and followed Feather.
I took the time to look at the blueprints on the table.
She will fail.
She will fail if Brandon's main focus is her, not his job.
