Ki POV

"Excuse me?" The goblin asked. I rolled my eyes and pulled myself off of the stone.

"Look. This old guy sent me to rescue you instead of saving my friend.." I say, untying him.

"Really? That's so nice of him......" The goblin says. "Yeah yeah.... Now, come with me so my friend doesn't die." I usher along. We start making our way up to the surface.

"So...... This friend of yours is pretty important to you..." The goblin trailed off.

"Not just me...... She means a lot to a lot of people..." I say (d-did he just break the fourth wall?)

The goblin eyed me with a smirk.

"She huh?" He said, nudging me.

I sighed.

"Look. Can we not talk about her as she is probably about to die? I snap.

We continue in a blissful silence.

"So........ I don't think I've gotten your name?" The goblin said, tweaking his glasses. I rolled my eyes. I might as well try to be friendly.

"Ki. Nice to meet you. And you are?" I prompt. "Smador!" He perked up,"The infamous goblin tinkerer!"

A faint smile appeared on my face once we reached the surface.

"I'm back! And I brought the goblin!" My voice rang throughout the dungeon.

Sebastian poked his head up from the back.

"Oh! That's good! Feather's not doing so well..." Sebastian said,

"Look. We need to go. Like.... Right now." I say, grabbing her bag.

"Uh... Where exactly are we going?" Smador asked.

"I'll explain when we get there." I picked up Feather.

"You two ready?" I ask, pulling out my magic mirror.

"I guess.." Mumbled Sebastian, taking one last look around.

"Here.... Hold onto the mirror." I order. The two comply as I put Feather's hand on the mirror. "Don't worry. We'll be there soon..." I say softly as I gaze into the mirror.

I smiled as the blue particles disappeared, revealing my home.

I set Feather down on the table and set off towards to basement. I don't want to waste anymore time. "You three stay up here, and don't touch anything!" I say, climbing down.

I started grabbing items from random chests.  "Crystals.... Pixie dust.... Water..." I mutter, repeating it over.

There.

I started making my way back up, juggling all the items in my arms.

"Ki?! Where are you!?" I hear my nurse, Holly ask.

"Right here, Holly. What's up?" I ask, climbing up.

"Why is there a dead girl on our table?" She asked, poking Feather. "She's not dead! At least....I hope she's not," I say, setting the potion ingredients on my work bench.

Holly put her hands on her hips.

"Uh~huh. Can you move this corpse before it starts smelling? And who are these people!" Holly said, wrinkling her nose.

"I'm Smador! The infamous goblin tinkerer!" Smador said in his nasally voice. Holly rolled her eyes.

"And who's the old guy?" She asked, motioning over to Sebastian.

I started putting the crystals in the water.

"Oh! That's Sebastian! He's a----- uh......." I stutter, hoping he'll fill in the sentence.

"I'm a Clothier. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Holly," Sebastian said, tipping his hat. She giggled.

"Wow..... Such a gentleman! Well...I guess you can keep your corpse on the table for a little bit longer..." Holly said, twirling her hair and walking back upstairs.

"She's not a corpse!" I shoot back.

Sebastian sighed.

"T'were I younger, I would ask Holly out. I used to be quite the lady-killer.." Sebastian said, wistfully.

"Sure. Whatever floats your boat." I spoke, not really listening to what he said. I finished the potion.

"Before we heal her, help me take off her armor."  I say, setting the potion down.

Sebastian and Smador looked at eachother, smirking. I rolled my eyes.

"Do you have any idea how uncomfortable wood armor is? Plus, I'll have to clean up all of the blood." I explain.

Smador snickered. "Sure..... That's the only reason.." He said.

I took off Feather's boots.

"Yeah.... It pretty much is." I say, ignoring his joke.

Soon, her armor was off, leaving her in her normal clothes. Sebastian gasped.

"Oh my word! Her clothes!" He said, clearly appalled.

"What about them?" I ask.

"They're hideous! And soaked with blood!" Sebastian said.

"Yeah. That's what the world will do to you......" I say, trailing off.

Sebastian clicked his tongue

"This simply will not do. Do you have a loom and some fabric?" Sebastian asked. I motioned my head over to my loom and chest.

"Knock yourself out. Oh! And Smador, there's some scrap metal in there too, if you want to meddle around with it." I say, Turing my attention back over to Feather.

With those two distracted, I can finally treat her! I grabbed a rag and the potions. I pour some of the potion on the rag and held it up to the gash on her forehead.

Now that I think about it..... She doesn't use health potions. If she would've used a few, she would of been alright....... Oh well......

Also, It's amazing she's stayed unconscious for this long,

All of a sudden, I hear a knock. I sigh and set the rag down. Hmm. That's funny.... I wasn't expecting anyone..... Wait...... I know who it is!

I open the door and I'm greeted by an old friend.

"Giraffe?? Anthony?!" I say, excited. He laughed.

"In the flesh!" Anthony said.

I forgot...... He was coming to visit,

I was so distracted with Feather that I---

"Dude! No way!" Anthony said, his eyes wide. I blinked.

"What?"

He looked at Feather.

"That's the same girl I rescued  from drowning in that frozen lake!"

And things will only continue to get confusing from here until Feather wakes up.
