Ruhani's POV

Devil is not so bad. Today I got a glimpse of Vicky in him who took me to Dominos and wiped my tears but still for him I am away from everyone.

At this time I could have been in the coffee shop if he had not come into my life. It was 7 p.m. and I completed the files he had given and went in his cabin to give it to him.

'Wait for me, we will go home together,' he said as I was leaving his cabin.

'Okay,' I said and left his cabin.

I went in my cabin, closed my computer, took my bag and went outside the office.

It had been five minutes but he was not coming.

'Hey, Ru,' I heard a voice and turned around to see Max.

'Hi,' I greeted with a small smile.

'So, today where was boss taking you?'

'Umm... I don't want to talk about it.'

'Oh... Okay... Can I get your number?' he asked.

'Yes... Sure,' I said and we exchanged numbers.

'Bye,' he said and left.

'What was he saying?' I heard Devil's voice and turned around.

'He was just asking my number,' I said with a shrug.

'You gave him your number?' he asked.

'Ya... he is my friend.'

'Okay... Let's go,' he said and we went toward his car.

'Hello uncle.' I greeted him as he opened the door for us.

'Hello Ruhani, Hello sir,' he greeted with a smile and went towards driver's seat.

We reached home after nearly twenty minutes and I greeted aunty as she opened the door for us.

Devil went in his room and I went in my room and the first thing I did was to call Dad.

'Princess, are you fine?' the first thing dad asked as he picked the call.

'Dad, I am fine,' I assured him.

'Wait, your mom is here I will put the phone on speaker,' he said and after some seconds I heard mom's voice.

'Ruhani, how was your first day?' mom asked.

'Good, mom,' I said remembering today's events.

'Princess, we are missing you very much, how will we live without you for six months?'

'Dad, I know and I am also missing everyone but dad I want you to spend these days with mom, you have lost many precious moments with her as you were busy with work, spend those moments with her, take her to a date or a movie."

'Okay princess, and you are right, back then I was busy with my work and used to come home at midnight then also your mom didn't complain and used to wait to have a dinner with me, she never complained and for that I am thankful to her and I will spend time with her now and make her happy."

I can imagine the way dad is looking at mom and I love that about them. After twenty-three years of marriage they love each other very much.

'Ru, where are you lost?" I heard mom's voice.

'Nothing mom, I was just thinking that maybe if i will get someone who loves me as dad loves you."

"Princess, you will not think about any boys."

'Ru, ignore your dad,' mom said and I giggled.

'What? Princess will not go anywhere, she is just a child, she will not think about boys and marriage."

'Ru, I know you will get that guy who will love you and will take care of you."

'Princess, now have your dinner and go to sleep,' dad said and cut the call.

And now they will fight like kids.

I messaged Anaya 'Hi... Whatsup.'  and went to freshen up.

I wore a green t-shirt and a balck payjama.

'Nothing... handling some weird customers,' Anaya's message popped on the screen.

I laughed after reading that... Really we often meet some crazy customers in the shop who will shout at us if we are few minutes late to give them their orders.

I should not disturb her.

I went in the kitchen and saw aunty was cooking.

'What are you making?' I asked as I went in the kitchen.

"Brinjal curry."'

'Oh... okay...I don't know anything about cooking,' I said and we both laughed.

'Its okay... cooking is not so difficult, you will learn it."

In few minutes curry was ready and she went to call devil.

After few minutes devil came down.

Aunty served us dinner.

'You and uncle can have dinner with us,' I suggested.

'No, we will have our dinner in the guest house,' she said.

'Please, call uncle and we can all have dinner.'

'Yes, you both can join us,' Devil added.

After few minutes uncle came and we started our dinner.

Vikram's POV

She asked uncle and aunty to join us for dinner. We never asked them to join us back in Bangalore, but she was always friendly with everyone. We had our dinner and went in our respective rooms.

After some time I went to her room and knocked the door.

'Come in,' her soft voice came.

I went inside and saw her watching some movie.

"Sorry, if you didn't like that I asked them to join us for dinner."

'No, no, it's fine,' I said with a smile.

'So how's uncle, aunty, Akira and grandma?' she asked about my family.

'Everyone is fine and grandma is no more,' I said gritting my teeth.

'Oh my god... what happened?' she asked shockingly.

'I don't want to talk about her,' I said.

'Okay... What is Akira doing?' she changed the subject and I was thankful for that.

'She is in class twelve and she has decided to become a teacher,' I said with a smile thinking about Akira's passion to become a teacher.

'Oh that's great... she was so small when you all left and now she will be in college,' she said with a smile.

'Yes, she was so small but now she is a grown woman,' I said and she laughed.

'You love her very much, na?" she laughed.

'Yes, even though we have twelve years difference between us but we are very close to each other." 

Suddenly my phone rang and it was Akira.

'Hello Akira, how are you?' I asked her.

'Fine bhai, my college exams are starting from next week,' she said.

'Oh... best of luck,' I wished her and excused myself and went to my room.
