Chapter-15

Ruhani's POV

I want to forget the incident that happened but when storm like this happens I remember it. I hate it.

'I will sleep with you,' he said cutting off my thoughts.

I never thought I will ask for his help but today I remembered MY VICKY who used to be my support. He asked me to lay down and pulled the blanket on me and went on the other side of the bed and slept.

I was really very frightened as all the incident was playing in front of my eyes like a film. He came close to me and pulled me in his arms.

'I am here baby, nothing will happen. Sleep, baby,' he said and that time I Knew I was safe in his arms. Nobody can hurt me.

'Do you remember when I was small and whenever I was not able to sleep you used to tell me stories until I have fallen asleep?' I said but he was quiet.

'I am sorry I mean I know I am not that 8 years little girl and you hate dad...'

'Baby, I remember each and every thing,' he said cutting me off.

Then we both were silent but that silent was comfortable silence, not that type of silence in which you feel awkward, it was that type of silence in which we can hear each others heartbeats and that was the most comforting in the entire world.

He was stroking my hair and slowly I drifted off to sleep.

Vikram's POV

I saw that she had fallen asleep. I knew that something happened in her life and that was the reason her dad had to sell the company but who had hurt her to such extent that whole body shivered remembering her past. I need to find out what happened in her life when I was not in her life.

She was looking so beautiful. I caressed her cheeks with my hand and slowly rubbed her soft lips. I wanted to kiss her pink and soft lips but stopped myself and I snuggled close to her and closed my eyes.

The sun rays coming from the window forced me to open my eyes. I open and saw that Angel was snuggled in my arms. This is the first time I slept the whole night.

Normally, I sleep in the morning from 7-9 and then get ready for work. I usually work the whole night because I can't sleep. When I was 19 I tried to sleep for few weeks but then the nightmares used to occur and I used to wake up with my whole body sweating. I never wanted to see those dreadful nightmares and that's why I decided that I will never sleep and will work the whole night.

Today is the first time I slept the whole night without any nightmares. Today once again my Angel saved me. I touched her cheeks and she frowned and I chuckled. Really, sometimes I think the way she loves to sleep, nobody in the world would love their sleep that much.

It was 7.30 A.M and it was too early for her to wake up and then I placed my hand on her stomach and closed my eyes. Again, at 9 A.M I decided to wake her up.

'Baby'

'Ten minutes,' she said and again snuggled close to me.

'Angel, please wake up otherwise It will be late for office,' I said patiently and she slowly opened her eyes and she looked at me for some seconds, maybe she was remembering what happened yesterday.

Then she suddenly pulled herself from me and in seconds she was sitting on the bed.

'Thank you,' she said softly.

'Thanks to you, baby,' I said and left her room before she asks me anything.
