Chapter-30

Ruhani's POV

'What?' I asked again thinking that maybe I have heard something wrong.

'Who was he?' he asked ignoring my question.

'Who?' I was so confused.

'Acting smart are we, Miss Jaywardhan?' he mocked and I felt weird as I heard 'Miss Jaywardhan' from his mouth.

'The guy whose shirt you were wearing and who kissed your forehead. You two were looking pretty close. So was he your new lover? Tell me, were you were having an affair behind my back when I was attending my business?' he asked and I was just staring at him. 

This was not the Vicky I fell in love with. This was some other person whom I didn't even know.

'All women are same. I thought you are different from Monica and other women out there but no, you all like when men get hurt and suffer,' he said and threw the flower vase which was on the table and I moved a step back from him .

'Finally, finally when I was again believing in love, you did it Ruhani. You showed me love does not exist. You are worst than my one night stands, at least they never said they loved me and went and slept with another guy behind my back,' he shouted and I knew that was the end.

There is no reason to explain him anything as he thinks I slept behind his back .

I went in HIS room and closed the door and finally the tears which I was controlling till now freely rolled down my cheeks.

I stroked my stomach. Today after Rakesh almost, forced himself on me, I was still happy because of our baby. When I saw him I wanted to hug him and tell him about our baby. I wanted to share my my past with him.

After few seconds I took a deep breathe and packed my suitcase and went down. This whole house now seemed foreign as the only person I loved was not mine anymore.

I went and stood in front of him.

'Mr. Malhotra I am not a slut. I only slept with one guy whom I loved,' saying this I was leaving but he held my wrist and pulled me towards him.

'Who was he? The man whose shirt you were wearing and who kissed your forehead?' he asked but I pushed him.

'If you had asked this question before accusing me of sleeping behind your back I would have told you everything. I am leaving Mr. Vikram Malhotra, not because you asked me to leave your house but because I don't want to stay with you,' I said and was leaving when I heard his voice.

'I hope you remember the contract Miss Ruhani jaywardhan and if you have forgotten let me remind you that if you want your dad to get the company back, you have to work as my secretary for the next six months. Let's see you in office Miss Ruhani Jaywardhan,' he said but I left without giving him a reply.

Anaya's POV

'Babe what happened, why are you so silent?' Rudra asked pulling me towards him.

'I don't know but I am feeling something is wrong .Ru is not picking up my call. I am calling her from the time she reached home and now it is 10 p.m. I hope everything is okay.'

'Let's go and meet her so that you will at least sleep in peace,' he said and I was just staring at him.

'Why do you love me so much that you left your job for me? There are thousands of girl out there. Why me?' I asked and he cupped my cheeks.

'I agree that there are thousands of girls out there but I love you. I don't need thousand of girls. I only want one girl and that is you,' he said and kissed me .

'Okay. Lets drop you to Ruhani's house,' he said and I realized he did not know anything about what happened in the past eight months and I don't want to share with him as it is her life and it is her right to decide with whom to share her life.

'I will take a cab,' I said.

'Okay. So you don't want me to be there and want to spend some time alone with her. Okay, go but call me if you need me,' he said and I thanked him .

I took a cab and went to Vikram's house. In twenty to twenty five minutes I reached in front of his house. I rang the bell and was shocked to see Vikram standing there.

Oh! He was back. Maybe that's why she is not picking my call as she was so busy with him.

'Sorry to disturb you but I want to meet Ruhani.'

'She is not here.' he seemed angry.

'What?'

'I don't keep girls who have an affair behind my back in my house. Maybe, she is with the man who was with her in the coffee shop and whose shirt she was wearing and who was so close to her to kiss her on the forehead,' he said, almost shouted and for the first few seconds I was confused but then I understood what he was saying.

Oh my god !

He thinks Ru is having an affair with Rudra.

'I have never seen a man like you and I don't even know what my best friend saw in a Devil like you and what made her fall in love with you. For your information my best friend is not such type of girl to sleep around and she is not like one of your bimbos. You don't deserve her Mr. Malhotra,' I shouted and tried to call her again but the mobile kept ringing.

Where is she?

'Maybe she is too busy with him to pick your call,'  he said and I was seconds away from slapping him.

I ignored him and again called her but this time also she didn't pick it up.

God ! Where is she?

So this was the first time Anaya and Vikram came face to face. Two closest person in Ruhani's life.
