Ruhani's POV

'Vicky, your previous girlfriends?' I asked as he served me breakfast.

'How many times I told you they are not my girlfriend?" he asked angrily.

'Yes, the girls knew how to cook?' I asked.

"Yes, they knew how to cook but I never ate anything made by them. After mom and Meena Aunty Tamanna is the only girl whose food I eat.'

"Is Tamanna a good cook?'  I asked.

'It does not matter, baby, all that matter is I love cooking for you Angel and you don't have to think negative of yourselves just because you don't know how to cook,' he said kissing my forehead and sat beside me and we started having our breakfast.

'Let's go to office ." he said after we finished our breakfast.

As yesterday I took a day off I had some pending work and finally I finished all the work before lunch time .

My mobile rang and I saw Vicky's name flashing on the screen.

'Today, we will have lunch together in my cabin,' he said before I could even greet him and cut the call.

I kept all my completed files in a place and when I was leaving toward his cabin Max came.

'Going towards the canteen?' he asked.

'Uh.. yes... yes,' I lied with a fake smile.

'Let's go,' he said and I followed him sadly because I wanted to have lunch with Vicky today.

'So you love someone?' he asked as we ordered lunch.

'Yes,' I replied and there was a sudden smile on my face.

'Who is that lucky guy?'

'I can't say it,' I said and he nodded .

'Max, I am sorry, I know you must be very hurt but you will always be my good friend,' I said as our lunch came.

'It's okay I am totally fine with it,' he said with a small smile.

'And, I don't want this situation to harm our friendship any way.'

'Ru, you are right I also don't want this situation to harm our friendship and I can assure you we will always remain good friends,' he said with a smile and we had our lunch.

After lunch he went to his cabin and I went to Vicky's cabin. I know he must be very angry.

I went inside and saw that he was typing something furiously.

I pulled a chair and sat in front of him.

'Vicky,' I called but he didn't pay attention.

'Vicky.'

'My Vicky,' I tried for the third time but still he didn't even glared a look at me.

'Had lunch with your friend?' he asked and was still typing.

'I am really sorry, I was coming to your cabin but then he came to my cabin and thought like other days I am going to canteen. I can't say that I will be having lunch with you because you know right we have decided to keep our relation as a secret ,' I tried to make him understand and finally he looked at me.

'Angel, I always think someday you will find someone better than me and you will leave me. Somebody who will make you more happy than me,' he said and I saw the fear in his eyes.
