Luminga-linga ako sa paligid upang hanapin ang doktor na iyon. Bumaba pa ako ng hagdan dahil hindi ko siya mahagilap sa mga kwarto namin sa itaas.
"Raven!" Sigaw ko. Kakagising ko lang mula sa napakahimbing na tulog ko. Sobrang napagod kasi ako kagabi.
Pinagod ako masyado ni Raven. Ay, este Gaven, my handsome baby boy. Nakakapagod bantayan ang anak ko. 😏
I scoffed.
Damn. I can't find him! Hinahanap ko siya dahil hindi ko makita si Gaven sa crib niya. Baka kako nasa kanya.
Yung doktor talagang iyon.
6 months old na ang anak namin. And he's very fond of his son. Sabagay, manang-mana sa kanya e. Pisngi lang ata yung sakin. Hay. Sana naman di maging chikboy ang anak ko.
"Raven, asan ka ba?! Konti na lang talaga ha! Malapit nang maubos ang pasensya ko!" Kanina pa to e. Paano pala kung wala sa kanya si Gaven?! Naku talaga.
Nang makababa ako, I immediately checked the sala, kitchen and even the maids chamber. But I couldn't find them!
Nagsisimula na akong kabahan. I noticed lately, after I gave birth to Gaven, madalas na akong kabahan kapag hindi siya nakikita. I guess, being a mother, you can't help from getting worried when you can't see your child on a safe place or with people whom you trust.
"Ate Yolly, asan po sina Raven?" Tanong ko. Ate Yolly is one of our trusted maids here. She worked with us just after our wedding last year.
"Ay, naku ma'am. Nasa labas po! Pinagkakaguluhan noong mga babae iyong mag-ama mo." Ate Yolly smiled meaningfully.
Biglang nag-init ang ulo ko sa narinig at dali-daling lumabas.
Sinasabi ko na nga ba! Pinakaba pa ako ng mag-amang yun eh nasa labas lang naman pala sila at nakikipaglandian doon!
Itong Raven talagang to, bata pa nga ang anak niya tinuturuan ng dumiskarte sa mga babae!
Pagkalabas ko, nakita ko agad malapit sa gate namin si Raven na hawak si Gaven sa right arm niya habang hinahawakan niya ang kaliwang kamay ng anak namin at kinakaway sa mga babaeng nasa harap nila.
The girls in front of them were also very happy praising Gaven as "cute" at "gwapong bata" but I was shocked when they mentioned "mana sa ama, sobrang gwapo."
Yung totoo, yung bata o ang asawa ko ang sadya nila? Nako.
I immediately approached them.
"Sobrang cute talaga! Baby, ako na lang mommy mo please?" The girl pinched Gaven's cheek and the young man giggled. Jusko, he loves attention.
Girl's attention to be exact. Goodness.
As if sensing that I am walking towards them, Gaven looked at me then Raven followed. He smiled.
"Uh, girls. Meet my other baby here." Raven motioned me to go on his side. "Avery Lim, my lovely wife." He said and kissed my forehead.
Some girls smiled at me but some of them grimaced and felt hopeless.
Sorry girls, he's mine. Ngumisi ako.
"Hello." Ngumiti ako sa kanila. We exchanged chitchats for awhile tapos ay nagpaalam na sila sa amin. Nag-jajog pala sila tapos napadaan sila habang kinakarga ni Raven ang anak namin that's why they stopped for a while.
It's a good sight to look at daw.
"Tuwang-tuwa ka naman sa atensyon, ha." Ni-nose to nose ko si Gaven tapos ay hinawakan niya ang pisngi ko and then he giggled.
Ah, music to my ears.
"At ikaw." Turo ko kay Raven. He smiled knowingly at me. "Subukan mo lang lumandi, puputulan talaga kita!"
He laughed with what I said. "If you'll do that, edi paano ka sasaya tuwing gabi?" He joked.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Puputulan ng kuko! Green minded ka talagang doktor ka. May bata, Raven!"
Raven just kissed my neck and laughed.
"By, mahal na mahal kita." He sincerely said, looking through my eyes. "Thank you for coming back to me and thank you for giving me, Gaven. I love you, both."
Hinalikan niya ako ng isang beses.
I smiled while we kiss.
"I love you too, Dr. Raven Lim. My possessive hunk husband. Mine. Only mine." I said and responded to his kisses.
Nothing could compare to the happiness I am feeling right now. Indeed, all the circumstances that we've been through were all worth it. I thought we already ended when we parted ways back then, but guess what, life gave us another chance.
I smiled wholeheartedly while looking at my two precious jewels. Totoo talaga iyong kasabihang, "If it's meant to be, it will be."
And even if we're not meant to be, sisiguraduhin ko paring at the end, WE WILL SURELY BE. We will surely be together, forever, and ever :)
