As expected, there was no time to move on as soon after the weekend was over, they found the body of an officer at the station – someone both Stiles and Lily had grown to care for. It was getting increasingly frustrating to not be able to do anything as they found people when it was too late. They had no idea who was committing the murders or how to find them – not to mention, they had to deal with the alphas on the side. Now Scott wanted to talk to Ethan since he was the nicer of the twins but they needed Lydia to distract Aiden first.

Personally, Lily didn't trust either twins, especially after what had happened with Boyd. They'd kidnapped her and then helped with his murder. They were big red flags in her book but after everything they'd gone through, Scott had become a leader to them so she decided to just trust him. Besides, Ethan is the nicer twin if there has to be one, Lily thought to herself as she idled around the lockers, waiting for Lydia to show up.

Eventually, Lydia came around the corner, hips swaying and confident smirk on her face. She met Lily's eyes briefly before approaching the twins, resting her hand on Aiden's shoulder. She whispered something in his ear before taking his hand and leading him away, one last glance going in Lily's direction. With evil twin gone, Lily sighed, approaching less evil twin. He looked at her as if expecting her to start a fight.

"We need to talk," Lily told him, nodding to him to follow. She was worried that he wouldn't but he did, trailing behind her with a guilty look on his face. She led him down the hallway and up to the stairs where Stiles and Scott were waiting. Frowning, she stood next to her brother, leaning against the railing as Scott began trying to talk to Ethan.

"Why are you even talking to me?" Ethan cut Scott off, a confused look on his face, "I helped kill your friend, how do you know I'm not gonna kill another?" His gaze travelled from Scott to Lily and Stiles, a serious look on his face. The vibes he was giving out didn't exactly scream 'hugs and kisses'.

Stiles furrowed his eyebrows, standing straight, "Is he looking at me?"

Noticing that Ethan had been looking at Stiles when he'd said that and being very angry with the evil twins, Lily also stood straight, raising her eyebrows, "Are you threatening my brother?"

Letting his emotions get the best of him, Stiles walked over to Ethan, angrily saying, "You know what we're gonna do? We're gonna break off an extra large branch of mountain ash-"

"-wrap it in wolfsbane, cover it in mistletoe-" Lily added from the side, glaring at Ethan.

"-and shove it up your ass!" they both exclaimed at the same time, scowling at him. Threaten one of them – you threaten the both of them.

"Guys!" Scott did he best to calm them, holding his hands up in a defensive gesture, "It's okay, we get it. Don't mess with the Stilinski twins."

Stiles released a sigh, leaning next to Lily and giving her a small high five, "Damn straight, they shouldn't." She only smirked, crossing her arms and watching as Scott started trying to convince Ethan to help them out.

From the look on his face, it was clear that Ethan was torn and wanted to help but was too afraid. He started telling them the story of how he and his brother became alphas, about how Deucalion had taught them and then turned them into killers. They'd killed their whole pack – including the emissary, leaving Lily to wonder how there could be a nice twin. Both of them were terrible and whilst their pack had treated them badly, it didn't make the fact that they'd murdered them all okay. He had told them that the pack was composed of other killers as though they were doing a favour to society but Lily struggled to see it that way.
