12 ∞ late night hospital visits are always a bad idea

Everyone was frozen for a moment before Derek suddenly lurched forward, pushing one of the trays aside in order to attack Jennifer. Scott was just as fast however as he jumped in front, pushing Derek back and doing his best to calm the man down. Eyes still on the teacher, narrowed and full of anger, Derek snarled, "She was trying to escape."

"I was trying to avoid getting killed, you can't blame me for that," she argued, standing her ground.

Stiles shook his head, stepping forward and gesturing towards Cora, "If you wanna show you're one of the good guys, then help her."

"Not until I'm safe," she responded instantly, an adamant look on her face. She was like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

"I'd like to volunteer a different method of persuasion," Peter smirked, his eyes dark, "Let's torture her."

Derek nodded, trying to shrug Scott as he huffed, "Works for me."

Sighing, Lily came over to them, pushing Derek back before turning to angrily stare at Jennifer. "No one is torturing anyone," she scowled, "Whilst seeing her in pain sounds pretty good, something tells me torture would do nothing but waste time." Frowning, she added under her breath, "And stain our clothes." Waving her hands in a calming motion, she continued, "Let's just think this through first."

"What is there to think through?" Derek exclaimed in shock, glaring at her. Lily was somehow not taken aback by his hostile response, instead raising a challenging brow in his direction. He was taking his anger and fear out on everyone in the surrounding areas and Lily wasn't going to take it. Their fight with the transformer twins out in the hallway had been pretty awful but even still. They were all in it together, whether they liked it or not.

Before anyone could try to dial down the situation, there was the sound of someone clearing their throat over the intercom. "Um, can I have your attention?" It was Mama McCall. The intercom crackled as she continued speaking, telling them, "Mr Deucalion... excuse me, just Deucalion. Requests you bring the woman calling herself Jennifer Blake to the E.R reception. Do this and everyone else can leave." There was a pause before she added, "You have ten minutes."

Everyone turned to glare at Jennifer, considering whether or not to just give the woman away. She sensed this hostility, her eyes filling with fear but she seemed to be trying to hide that in her expression. "He's not gonna hurt her," she told them, eyes scanning everyone as if looking for risk.

"Shut up," Lily scowled, "This is exactly why they want to torture you."

"He won't!" she exclaimed, earning more disbelieving glares. Rolling her eyes, she looked to Scott, "Scott, you know why. Tell them it's true."

Derek furrowed his eyebrows, "What does she mean?"

Scott didn't reply, only staring at them blankly. Huffing in annoyance, Jennifer explained for him, "You're not the only one he wants in his pack."

This got everyone looking at her with less distaste, raising their eyebrows questioningly. When the teacher didn't continue, Lily rolled her eyes, crossing her arms, "Well go on then."

"Deucalion doesn't just want an Alpha pack," Jennifer announced, glaring momentarily at Lily before trailing her eyes to Scott, "He wants perfection. That means adding the rarest of alphas to his ranks."

Peter seemed to know what she was talking about, breathing in shock, "A true alpha."

"What's that?" Stiles frowned, joining in on the discussion for the first time in a while.
