Going After Some Bad Guys

Ruby's POV

"Hey, where are we going?" I asked, confused by the twisting metal corridors that I was being rushed through.

"You have a lot of explaining to do, kid." Was the only answer the man that was leading offered me, rude. This man had a firm grip on my wrist, all I can say to that is, oww.

"Uh, well okay, but you never answered my question."

"We are currently tracing the box, if we're quick then we may be able to catch them." Said another man. I like this guy better, actually, he kinda reminded me of Jaune. I wonder if the others even know I'm gone, it feels lonely without them.

We made it to a room filled with computers. I've never been really good with that kinda stuff, so all I'll say is that there was a lot of important looking buttons. The people that were 'escorting' me started having their own rushed conversations. 'Escorting' would Weiss be proud of me for using such a fancy word?

I just stood there watching, maybe I could sneak away. Nah, seems like a bad idea, although I could do it... probably.  I looked at the person next to me, he was quite muscular, and was holding a bow and had a quiver. Maybe I should ask him what's going on, he only looks a little intimidating.

"Hey, uh, what's going on?" I ask glancing at him, his eyes darted towards me, he was really alert.

"Like Steve said, we're tracing the box." He turned to me. "So, what's your name?"

"I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose."

"Clint Barton. Now that the introductions are out of the way, can you tell me why and how you appeared from the box."

"I dunno, it just kind of happened. I was going to go and train, and then I felt kinda weird, and now I'm here." I laughed nervously, this reminded me of when I met professor Ozpin. Just there were no cookies... those cookies were great...

"So you aren't working with the other people that came from the box."

"I'm not sure who came out, I wasn't exactly awake for it." I started to shift around, this was getting really uncomfortable. "Wait! Was there a girl with long golden hair, one with white hair and another with black?"

"There was one with black hair, but none of the others looked like that."

"Well, I have no idea." I said, kind of sad that my team mates weren't here. Clint looked like he was about to say something, but he was interrupted by a woman with short red hair.

"They've been sighted Clint, are you ready to go?" He nodded in response.

"C-can I go too?" I asked, hopefully. "I could recognize them if I actually see them." Clint looked thoughtful, before nodding in approval. I could see how annoyed the red head was getting.

We boarded a small aircraft, and in a flash we were on the move. the aircraft moved very quickly, but eventually it slowed. I looked out from a window, we were a above a car, which was was speeding away.

"I can't stop, Rodgers and Stark will have to take it from here." The red head said. I turned and then I saw them. A figure of a person, they seemed to be a robot, or an 'iron man'. The other was wearing a red, white and blue suit with a shield, his outfit just screamed freedom. How can I put this lightly, THEY LOOKED SO COOL!

The back of the aircraft opened, and they just leaped out. I'm definitely asking for their autograph, forget Professor Goodwitch. I watched the scene unfold, the good guys against the bad guys. They fought for a bit, and after a few explosions the bad guys seemed to be winning. The good guys were backed into a corner, no good!

I still had Cresent Rose, I could help. Without thinking I ran out of the aircraft, the others on board called out, but I was already falling. I quickly activated my semblance, and rushed to help in a torrent of rose petals. I pulled out Crescent Rose, and went straight for the nearest enemy. I sliced, and then shot, using it to propel myself up.

I landed and got a good look at my opponent. "R-Roman Torchwick?"

"Huh? Red? You are such a little pest, you always get in the way." Roman looked annoyed for a moment, but then he began grinning. "Whatever, I'll just get rid if you once and for all!"

He pointed his cane at he, and shot three times. I spun Crescent Rose around, and deflected each of them. I tried to hit him, but another person leaped in front of him. She had an eerie smile on her face, it looked almost psychotic. I leaped backwards and tried shooting them, but they easily deflected the shots with their aura.

My 'team mates' were looking pretty beat up, and we're currently lying on the ground, so much for looking cool. The girl that was fighting me put her parasol over her shoulder, and stood still, just watching me. All the other baddies had done the same. I ran for her, and got a clean hit. For a split second I was excited but then everything... shattered.

I turned towards my allies, they were staring at me, with mixed looks of anger, confusion and probably some other things, seriously that can't be all they feel.

"Well, uh, that happened." I said scratching the back of my head.

Yang's POV

"We've looked everywhere, and we still can't find her!" I said in panic.

"Do you think she was kidnapped?" Blake suggested.

"Maybe, but I'm hope she wasn't. What would I do if I lost her too, what would happen to Dad! He can't lose anyone else." I sat down and held my head in my hands. "How will I tell him!"

"We should wait, Ruby isn't dumb enough to get kidnapped. I mean, this isn't the first time one of us has disappeared." Weiss said, looking towards Blake, and earning a glare in return.

"Anyway, we'll look again tomorrow, okay?" Blake said putting a hand on my shoulder. "For know get some rest."

"Okay..." I said, and went to bed.

I didn't sleep at all that night.
