I was reading the book of Romans a few minutes ago, and I learned some very valuable lessons from it that I would like to share with you.
The chapter starts off with Paul greeting the people of Rome etc.
In verse 16, Paul says "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation of everyone who believes, first to the Jew and then to the Greek"
This verse here portrays that Paul ain't ashamed of the gospel of God. So why are we? Why are we afraid of preaching our God to others? Why do we find it difficult to encourage others through Jesus but find it easy to gossip about that other girl that wears short skirts to church?
Can't we see that the gospel is is the power of God of salvation? It has the power to save.
Let's just keep that in mind
