Sel's P.O.V
Today I will be knowing whether I'm having a boy or a girl, and even though Josh is mad at me, I couldn't wait to find out!
Most importantly Joel will be finding out, and maybe this will help him, so he can be happy again, I know he hasn't been.
And I can't help but blame myself for his unhappiness.
Hopefully the arrival of the baby will make him a better guy, like he used to be.
The Joel I loved and I know he's still the same, deep down I know.

Joel said he would just meet me there, and I was fine with that.
It's been a bout half an hour and Joel hasn't showed up yet.
I began to worry, what if something happened? Oh my god, I began to worry and panic, where could he be?
I decided to call him.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Joel... Oh my god are you OK?" I was so concerned.
"I'm fine? What's up?" Is he being serious.
"You forgot didn't you..." I wanted to yell so bad.
"About?" He sounded so lost. Fucking idiot.
"Forget it. Obviously you don't want to know the gender of your baby." I just hanged up.
I can't believe him, he promised. He's not the Joel I knew. Where is the Joel I loved?
Honestly it doesn't matter if he's gonna be here or not. I will smile, because this is my baby.
"Selena Pimentel?" The doctor came out.
OK so maybe Joel and I didn't go through the whole divorce process, I still have his last name.
I walked inside, and greeted the doctor and nurse.
"Are you ready to find out what you're having?" The doctor asked.
I nodded and smiled.
"Ok well just lay down and I will begin."
I did as I was told.
"Ok so the baby looks healthy, everything looks great." The doctor said.
I looked at the screen, and a tear slipped out of my eye.
That's my baby, he's healthy, and that's all I want for the baby.
From the corner of my eye I could see someone, I turned around and saw Joel standing there.
"You can come in." I said.
He walked inside, and had a tear running down his cheek.
"Sel, the baby is healthy, thank you." He smiled, and grabbed my hand.

"Congratulations you two! Sel I will be seeing you in 3 weeks for a check up." Doctor Rodriguez said.
"I knew it all along it was going to be-." I cut Joel off.
"You did now?" I giggled.
"Yes! Haha do you want to go eat?" I nodded and we headed out.

"Look Sel I'm sorry I forgot, I have just been busy, I really am sorry!" Joel apologized.
"It's ok. But please make time for our baby, I don't care if you're not here for me, but be here for your child."
"I will have time..." He said out loud and smiled. "For the both of you." He murmur.
"I can't wait to tell Ally and the girls what I'm having!" I giggled thinking about how they want to throw me a gender reveal party.
After about and hour of eating and talking we decided to head out. "Ready?" Joel asked.
I nodded and we left.

"Yes Ally! I'm so happy!" I smiled on our face time.
"Girl I'll fly out just for this party! I can't wait!" I giggled at how excited she is.
"Well goodnight Ally. Talk to you tomorrow." I waved goodbye.
